I still can't believe that they spent so much $$ to build a walking trail that is only 7 tenths of a mile long

After the "repair" walkers will be required to go barefoot. No shoes! ;)

Usually this type of pork is buried in a spending bill.

Hopefully those who approved this will take a good look at what went wrong and write this up so other districts will not make same mistake

The Project Wide committee that approved that trail made a bad decision. It did not need to be that fancy soft pavement. It would have cost less if they installed regular asphalt with concrete ribbon edges. Like the multi-modal paths.

Then it would not deteriorate so fast, and dogs could walk on it.

I walked it yesterday, no repairs needed, I suspect they meant they will re-seal it. Quit gripping. Instead focus on billions of OUR money being sent over seas. Yes, OUR money!

Abused olympians money

Had to delete this as it was meant elsewhere.

You can't expect quality when you overpay for something.

Black Lake Trail ?

Is this the same trail that is offering a "Sunset Social" trail walk on May 6th?
Black Lake Trail, Lake Miona....

At the end of the trail is a horrid beast that eats villagers and leaves their bones on the path. It is small price to pay to roll over real estate.

Would be the most expensive resealing in the history of the world

It could be closed for year for all I care. But, don’t come back with 25% increase in maintenance fees with —-.

It is a nice walking path, liked the soft payment but appears not a good fit for our area
