My first comment was who names their horse Dan. Sadly I don’t think there is a triple crown this year. MD looked to be losing ground close to finish line.

I had Sierra Leone across the board for $20 , it would have been nice to get all 3 payouts but at least I made a little money

Looks like the next two races will be very evenly matched.

Sierra Leone ran a longer race and in one more step he would have crossed first..... I felt bad for his owner.

Sierra got bumped too which could have cost him the race arround the turn.

Mystic Dan's jockey gave the horse a perfect ride.
Just enough left in the tank to get over the line.

Did a great job

All the HYPE re Fierceness. then phffffffft. Virtually NOTHING after the race.

We watched about 20 min total of that looonnnnng broadcast. I think it was 4 hours long.

It was a great race, right to the end.

We broke even - no $$$$ on anything...

Today's horses aren't worthy to carry Secretariat's saddlebags.

Wonder how fast this was run compared to Secretariats races?

Or bumped the other horse which could won? Looked like to me the were both bumping come down stretch?

Just about 3 seconds slower? Maybe secretariat rams against slugs? Next fastest horse to secretariat 5 tens slower?

Mystic Dan’s owner has not commented to Preakness. Maybe a last minute decision.

Would loved to have seen Secretariat's 'diet' in those days. Bonds, McGwire and Sosa could've picked up a few pointers!
