Dog poop - Chitty Chatty streets
Someone (1 or more) was out early this AM with sizeable dogs leaving large piles of droppings in the middle of the streets in Chitty Chatty. We were out on bikes about 6:30 and found large piles on both Akin Way and Wilder Path.
If you have the energy to take your dog out early in the AM, you have the energy to clean up after it. |
Another Dog Poop Thread.
Life is Good. |
Wild critters take dumps too.

Better in middle of the street than middle of a neighbor's yard.

Yay we haven’t had a good dog poop thread in ages

Are you sure it wasn’t a wild critter?
I run and see lots of responsible dog owners. Most people care. I have witnessed an eagle picking up a small animal, which evacuated as it disappeared into the sky. I wouldn’t blame the poor critter. Btw, I brought a bag with me the next day. |

possibly NOT a dog. Could be a bear ( yes, they are here)

How about a cat poop thread?

Cat poop thread
Neighbor walks cat without leash so it can use yards as kitty litter box. Upside to this - the cat covers its poop. downside - with the temperatures in the 90's - it tends to stink.

Maybe it was the black bear that was seen there (another thread).

And a lot of people responding on here don't live in the villages. They are trolls. |

Imagine a sewage truck that unloads in your yard. One that you can't catch in the act. You know it's the driver that is responsible. Much easier to put spikes in the area to damage the truck than to fight with the driver. |

A long time ago, when we lived in SE FL we had a sweet dog that we taught very well. She was so much fun. When we walked if we stopped to cross the street or talk with someone she would stay by my side. She wasn't to go up to anyone. I taught her this in case people were afraid of dogs or didn't want her near them for any reason. The majority of people always wanted to pet her, so then I let her walk up to them. One day our sweet girl started vomiting. This was on a Sunday. On Monday morning I drove her to our vet. I was concerned about her becoming dehydrated. The vet checked her and said she was OK and gave her some meds to calm her tummy. The next morning our girl had gotten sick during the night. When she walked to her food bowl she walked as though she had aged 10 years. There was something very wrong. So off to the vet I took her. The vet couldn't believe the condition she was in. She had gone from being OK to being malnourished over night. I left her for their so the docs could help her. She didn't survive. Later our vet called and asked if a neighbor might have poisoned her. I couldn't believe those words came out of his mouth. But after time passed I thought about it. I'll never know for sure what happened. But the man who lived behind us had gone through a bitter divorce. His wife left and he then started having friends over day and night, partying. I can't say that one of his friends did this but there were a lot of people there and it is a possibility. It's just hard to get my head around someone doing anything like this to an innocent animal - even though we all hear about these things. |
