Are there phone companies that are better than the others for coverage/price in TV?

We have Verizon and except for the bowling alley, have very good coverage, I cannot provide comments about other companies as we have only used Verizon, and this is with both android and apple phones.

Different areas of the villages will have different quality of reception.

We like T Mobile friends of ours North of 466 say reception is terrible

XFinity Mobil …….no issues.

They're all about equal except T-Mobile has 9 data breaches since 2018.
But don't worry they will give you lifetime credit monitoring.

Mint mobile - unlimited talk, text, and data for $240 a year. My wife has this and has great coverage everywhere in TV. In fact pretty much everywhere Period. If you are paying more than $20 a month, you should look at this.

Any worse than the AT&T and Verizon data breeches?:)

Mint Mobile, which uses the T-Mobile network, is $15 per month, plus some taxes and fees. It is a pre-paid plan for unlimited voice, text, and data, although bandwidth might be throttled after 5 gigabytes per month of data. Higher data plans before possible throttling are also available. I have never come close to using 5 gigabytes of data in a month.

Verizon offers the most robust sim and number lock security.

Remember you get nothing for nothing in life so personally my one and only phone is not the area in my life that I cheap out.

Also Mint is owed by T-Mobile which is deprioritized and has the worst security and has the highest amount of low level employees who will sell your phone number sim swap.

But everyone says they have no problem with their budget carrier until there is a problem, then good luck.

Consumer Cellular

Consumer Cellular---never have had a problem.

Verizon.

We want coverage everywhere, including international if needed.

We have stayed with Verizon. Since we travel internationally quite a bit, we pay $10/24 hours when we need to use it outside the USA.

Also, you will need to set your phone up to use your home WiFi if you buy any a home built in the last 10 years or so. The insulation acts as a Faraday cage making reception in the home difficult.

We have Spectrum which uses Verizon towers. No problems, good customer service and cheaper than Verizon.

Consumer Cellular, definitely! 2 brick and mortar stores here, one in Brownwood and one in Lake Sumter. Talk to a real person face to face. Customer Service is top drawer.

Give Tracfone a look. I get a NEW Samsung Galaxy smart phone every year with limited talk, text and data (1,500 ea.) for one year at $89.95. That's for the whole year not per month. Transfer apps and contacts to the new phone wirelessly. Just be patient. Price may be higher or lower now depending on sale prices. My better half insists on keeping her old iPhone on Verison, so we just switched to Tracfone Service and saved a bundle per month. Same number and service coverage as before. Been with Tracfone for years now. Never had a problem or outages. Worth investigating Tracfone.

Just checked: A NEW Samsung A03s phone with 1 yr. service &1500 talk/text/data is selling at $49.95 + tax, free shipping on HSN. May not be the best model but the price is hard to beat.

We have T-Mobile, live near the Savannah Center. Service is OK, 2 bars, but we use VoIP (Cellular service) while home.

Consumer Cellular
 

We have had Consumer Cellular for about a decade. The price is very, very good and their customer Service is excellent.

At&T has a program for Florida seniors, 2 lines with unlimited data for $80.

Also check out Cricket Wireless. Owned by AT&T and uses their towers. Allows for WiFi calling anywhere you’re WiFi connected. $25/line/month unlimited
talk-text-data with no contract.

We live near Nancy Lopez, have T Mobile for 2 years, service is great here and all over the place for us

When traveling, get a "ESim card"...

It's loaded via an app. You're entire trip will most likely cost less than the one day charge from Verizon...

T mobile for us, live in the South East corner of TV with good reception, 2 phones with unlimited everything and home Internet for 120 a month.
