Classified spammer
 

Anyone get an inquiry for an ad that just didn’t sound right? I’m not ready to post the username yet.

All the time that is why I carefully look at the email address of the sender

If it has payment by check, or we will send truck to pick up, etc, RUN it is a scam, or better yet reply, CASH ONLY, public place, and if there is a substantial amount involved, I might consider my local bank where the bills can be checked to be real.

As stated above. If it looks wrong, it invariably is wrong.
Different way of paying to what is advertised, sending someone to collect, bankers drafts, are all red alerts.

I understand everything that’s been said. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this experience. It’s definitely a scam.

Had similar, twice.
Just reply that the terms of sale are what was stated. Then ignore.

Yes! I am selling an accordion and this spammer reached out to me in email and tha=en asked for me to respond via another email, so I did and asked them to call me, but they didn't, they only gave excuses. Spammer said they were moving to the villages and was going to have the movers pick up Cin@ M@rtins.

Same person. They just inquired about another item I have listed.

Same person for me yesterday. Need to call in the Beekeeper.

I have two outlook rules to delete scam emails, and the domain list is huge. . . just add this email address to the scam list of emails. .

Sorry, I deleted all communication with this person so I can no longer furnish his username. Maybe someone else can.

Unless you know this spammer, why don’t you want to post his name? When I don’t know someone they’re gone. Why do you want to protect this person? Not trying to be mean, just don’t know why you don’t want to report someone because you want protect them!

There was a "Bob Kidney" doing this on Nextdoor yesterday. His profile picture showed him and his wife with 3 children but his location was Freedom Pointe which is a assisted living facility.

Was trying to buy everything using PayPal and Zelle and was selling a golf cart and a sofa but wanted a 30% deposit using PayPal and Zelle.

Someone checked and there was a Bob Kidney at Freedom Pointe but he passed away at 88 years old in 2019.
