Sunspots & hurricanes

Volcanoes, shmallkanoes
Hurricanes are produced by sunspots |
Hurricanes and tornados are caused by temperature deltas due mostly to solar activity.

Daily sun energy map...Typical.
Obviously this is going to produce swirling winds...And randomly depending on cloud cover. |
Fun Fact: Currently, one second of sun energy is equivalent to what man produces/uses in 7 years.
Yeah, "man causing climate change" requires a total lack of spatial reckoning ability...and of course mindless "faith". |
Son of a gun!
So you're saying that gargantuan thermonuclear explosion that's been going on for the past 4 billion years, a mere 10 minutes from here, effects our climate more than a trace gas in the atmosphere that has never exceeded 0.04% ? Weird! Have you alerted "Science" about this? I think he's over his latest bout of Covid-19! |
I read awhile back that Astronomers have noted "global warming" on all the superior planets.
Sunspots? Little green guys who are in denial over the fact that their particular globe is getting too warm? |

So what we do not know is what type of wobbling the sun does, including in radiation intensity, and any other axis travel wobble. . If you look back in history, there was a medieval warming period, evidenced in records in England/europe I believe. Medieval warm period (MWP) | Britannica, and certainly it wasn't human development, etc. . but this is also an estimate of average temperature, as temperature measurement is only about 200 years old max at best. So which wobble caused that warming? |

Two months on the job. If you're going to use graphs at least get a legitimate source Since 80% of the world's scientists - a proven fact - believe climate change is real and that mankind can and has affected our climate I'll go with the majority. All these charts which are incomprehensible to us non-scientists don't convince me one bit. The good thing is - and I should have just done this - I can just go to the next thread. |

What we got here are believers and non believers. Let me cash in and I’ll become believer :eclipsee_gold_cup: |

All I know is the weather is constantly changing. Century to century, Decade to decade, Year to year, month to month, day to day, hour to hour, and minute to minute. In other words the climate is always changing. That’s why can’t argue with climate change.

Correct me if I’m wrong or if your posts are sarcasm....but you stated in the past that you derive income from oil drilling and the industry? I have no issue with that ...just wondering with statements like the above and in other like minded threads...how do you reconcile? |

I thought the made up # was 97%... It's so hard to keep up... |

Yes. I do derive income (a few hundred $, not thousands) from fossil fuels. I have a small, undivided percentage of oil land in Texas. As I have stated in the past, that while I do receive income from oil, that income does not blind me to the fact that there are alternative energy sources which are superior in many ways. Like an old man, which I am, enjoying a donut that he knows is not healthy or good for him, I can accept my dietary failing, but still in good conscience advocate for a healthy diet for one and all. I could sell my small share, but that wouldn't really solve anything. The extraction would continue and some one else would get the check. If I get the check, I can still afford the occasional donut with my senior coffee. Black, no cream or sugar, thanks. Hope that is understandable. 🙂🙂🙂 |
I see your confusion...Actual scientists know CO2 has no effect on climate and that atmospheric CO2 is the outcome of climate...97% of political scientists disagree.

As to your question, what makes you think most scientists believed the world was flat before Galileo? It was pretty well figured out long before. As for giving scientists a pass? No. They, like everyone else, have to earn it. Lastly, I believe your quote is incorrect and, thusly, misleading due to the context you associated it with. I believe the quote should be, "Four out of five dentists surveyed recommend Crest toothpaste to their clients". |
