If it bothers you so much, go pick some of it up and find a place to dispose of it.
|
If you think the piles look bad now, wait to see what's left of the grass after they get picked up.
|
It will all definitely be gone tomorrow.

Is there a reason this stuff cannot be burned for generating electricity?

I know it’s a bubble that we live in. But if you leave you will see that all over central Florida there are similar piles of debris everywhere.
Only so many people and so much equipment to remove. |
Rent a chipper and a muncher and go into business. Ground cover, mulch, etc. By the bag or by the truck load. My garden could use a few cubic yards.
Just a thought. |

Does it bother you? The Villages has done a great job of dealing with the debris from the hurricane. Also, the new fall flowers have been planted.
What do you expect them to do? If it is a problem for you, go pick it up yourself!!! |
How many notifications need to be sent out? Check District Gov.

Travel Southwest to the Gulf. You will see real debris.

I decided to put all my debris in 4 foot by 6 inches bundles as I read is recommended for regular pick up. I hope this will get it done this next garden debris pick up. Otherwise I'll bring it to the dump myself.
