Who for Cart Tires??

Current recommendation for Yamaha cart tire replacements??

Would prefer "at home", unless it just costs to much & I should drive somewhere (South of 466a)

Thank you in advance.

Have not used, but Hometown Tire (mobile) has been recommended to me.

online tire store

Just purchased 4 tires for 359 plus tax at Golf Cart Tire supply online with free delivery. Got a quote from Tire Choice Auto on 466A for mounting of 10 dollars a tire. Similar tires from local tire supplier who comes to your home was close to 600 dollars.

RHOX RoadHawk 205/65R-10" Radial DOT Golf Cart Tires - Set of 4

Time will tell if it's worth the hassle for 175 dollars.

You can call the mobile golf cart service companies and ask if they offer this service and the cost per, I do not have a specific recommendation as I have not had to do this yet.

You do have to drive there but Tire Choice at Colony had a good price on the popular 10" Loadstar tires. We were in and out quickly.

Last year, Tire Choice at Colony did mine for $350. At first, I was just going to do two and they quoted me a price of 100 apiece. I said “what if I do 4, can you do better?” and they did it for 350.

Was gonna say why he even piped in. I was reading the post just for the knowledge. But as having not yet had to replace tires, what do I know.

Be very careful with Tire Choice at Colony. Their quote will automatically have a $15 per tire insurance added in with no prior disclosure. If memory serves me correct. The tire cost was around $74 per. IMHO, $15 insurance is a little excessive but I really took exception to the non disclosure. They tried to tell me that since I agreed to the quote, I was agreeing to the insurance.

I ended up going to the Villages Golf Carts. Price was about the same as ordering online and taking them to someone to mount, $80 a tire if I remember correctly. I preferred the one stop shop. Call or stop and get a quote.

Golf Cart tires

I needed tires a couple years ago and went to the Villages golf cart facility by the North wood shop. They recieve new carts and replace the wheels with fancy ones. I bought 4 wheels for $15 or $20 each and just put the wheels on myself. They were the plain white rims, but I didn't care if they were not fancy. They had hundreds wheels they must get rid of.

The tire guy, he comes to your home, works out of Eustis. (352) 434-2254

I wouldn't trust tire choice to work on my car... I have personal experience.

But I do order my new tires on line, take them, with the old tires / rims and give them directly to the guys in the back. They'll change them out for tips and I always give them $10 per tire. I usually plan to drop them off and pick them up in a couple of hours.

I bought my tires online at Amazon and had Tire Choice of 466/Wedgewood install for $10/each. No problems encountered and it was quick.

I was not happy with an alignment i got from them, they charged me like $90. The next week in Ohio the alignment wasn't right took it to firestone and found I needed new rack and pinion gear arm, on the rack had a couple inches of slop in the steering, i felt scammed by them.
