I think he overprices his stuff....but it's your call.

MVP is out of business so expect to replace in time your whole garage door opener system. Chamberlin MyQ DC motor systems seem to be the best way to go.

I have never had an outside keypad because I never saw the need for one. I don't even use the remotes because my SUV visor button is programmed to open the garage door.

Hopefully, your SUV is never in an accident or the shop and you need in the house, LOL. I never carry a key to the house.

I have a house key hidden on the property, which I think everyone should do. But, not under the door mat.

Perhaps Amazon no longer has them. My last viewing experience was about 5 yrs ago. Sorry.

Why do you need this specific keypad? Any garage door keypad will work. I put in a liftmaster keypad and it’s worked fine for over 3 years.

I have MVP parts 2 overhead motors ($150.00 each), one outdoor key pad ($40.00), two pair of door sensors ($130.00 a pair), two inside openers ($60.00 each), and four hand held remotes ($30.00 each).

I was just looking all over the internet for one of these yesterday so, if you find one, can you please let me know. I found two sites that showed them but both said discontinued under them. I have tried a universal remote off Amazon also but it didn't work with Allstar MVP.

Same problems, universal remote keypad wouldn't work with MVP Garage door opener.

When I see old MVPs out on street for garbage pickup I look for used part. Luckily my belt started fraying when I heard bumping sound. Looked in spare parts box and yanked good old belt out and installed it. I have never found any inside/outside key pads:mad::sad:

We had one and despite the former owner keeping immaculate records of every thing done to the house we never found the code. After one neighbor suggesting contacting one of about 30 companies he knew worked in the house would know, we permanently removed it and keep a house key on all our key rings.

WARNING! 15 years ago we bought a villa with a MVP. We were at least the 3rd owner. These all come pre-programmed with the same builder code. It is in the instructions. I assume the builder is suppose to delete it when the house id done. I tried it and and up went the door. Meaning anyone working on these homes probably know it and can get into your garage. I deleted it immediately.
Systems use one of two different transmission frequencies. You need to know which when ordering a universal remote.
