Favorite Taylor Swift song?

Happy Birthday this December 13, 2024 to Taylor Swift. I did rent her tour video around last summer. She is definitely a talent not seen very often.

Shake It Off would be my favorite song of hers.

My wife and youngest daughter saw her concert over the summer at Wembley. The trip was expensive so I am a little jaded by the economic pain, but I can definitely say from reports and viewing streams (I didn't go myself, couldn't afford it after paying for them), that every person who attends one of her concerts loves it. 80,000 people standing and singing continuously for hours.

Personally, my favorite song is "Enchanted."

Cool .

One of my favorite memories of Taylor Swift songs is the cop lip syncing to her Shake It Off while driving his cruiser.

My favorite Taylor Swift song is whichever one is shortest, and preferably at the lowest (or no) volume.

She sings? I thought she was just the good looking girl who dates Travis Kelce?

I thought she's the one that everyone goes to for expert advice on football. :clap2: :1rotfl:

Our Song.

manaboutown 12-13-2024 08:13 PM

I thought Taylor Swift was a football player who could run fast.

Don't know much about her, but I thought I should, so I checked youtube for her Christmas songs. I wasn't fond of her White Christmas, but IMO her Silent Night was terrible.

Kamaaina 12-14-2024 04:25 AM

I'm about as much a fan of Taylor Swift as my parents were a Jimi Hendrix fan.

I had an old aunt who thought Bill Haley was the devil's messenger!

rhood 12-14-2024 06:25 AM

I wouldn’t recognize her voice or any of her songs.

Rocksnap 12-14-2024 06:49 AM

Who’s Taylor Swift?

Talented performer, can't listen to her. Not my kind of music.

I tried to get into her but she can't sing worth a damn and her songs are insipid.

Regorp 12-14-2024 09:39 AM

The 50s generation would have considered Elvis woke and I have seen no sign that Taylor Swift denies the divine spark in all of us even though some to seem to constantly turn to the Seven Deadly Sins. And I never heard her put out views that deny human rights.

You beat me to it. I could probably identify Taylor Swift singing a song, but other than "Shake it Off", I couldn't name one.

Just not my style of music. No judgement.

I graduated high school in 1960. I loved the rock and roll of the 1950s! Elvis was The King! No politics involved that I can recall. Some parents were initially aghast at the moves Elvis the Pelvis made. lol.

As far as woke goes Elvis had my greatest respect for going into the US Army when he was drafted.

Elvis was decidedly apolitical and he had a beautiful voice, neither of which applies to Taylor Swift.

ElDiabloJoe 12-14-2024 11:04 AM

I'm not a fan, but I will give her the credit she is due: She is bigger now (has made more money, drawn bigger crowds, had more hit songs and records) than The Beatles ever were. Doesn't say much to me, I never cared for the Liverpool Four either. All of them are just like Texas. You either love it or hate it. Not a lot of middle ground held.

How cares

maistocars 12-14-2024 12:39 PM

For the young girls who follow her, I think her lyrics, especially recently, are totally inappropriate.

This thread is so typical of many threads on ToTV...

Someone asks a simple question about a person and the smart @sses have to chime in about how much they hate the person in the topic...

They are incapable of answering a simple question!

??? The title of the thread is "Favorite Taylor Swift song?" What did you think you were commenting on?

Children made her famous, adults paid her salary. I liken it to Bennie Babies, eventually it will all disappear!

I turn off the radio if I know it's her song, i don't like her.

She needs to take a step down off her high horse.
