Looking for a lawyer that handles lemon law cases
 

I have a new car that the dealership doesn't have the part to fix my car and don't know when they will have the part. Looking for a lawyer that have lemon law cases.

I think you can avoid the lawyer and file a complaint directly with the Florida Attorney General (Seniors Against Crime can help with this).

It's a fairly simple process and don't be afraid to go at it, without an attorney. There are zillion lawyers online who specialize in Lemon Law cases and they're your best bet if you decide to need a lawyer.

If you meet the criteria, you'll get a settlement. You get to deal with the Manufacturer and not the Dealer, and they're way more concerned with their reputation.

Have them provide you a rental car provided your car is out of commission and not usable until whatever part comes in. It would be a whole lot easier. I am afraid to ask what is the part?

This is exactly where Lemon Law cases get complicated.

Folks think they can get a Lemon Law settlement, because their Infotainment System doesn't work right. Unless the fault makes the vehicle un-drivable or un-safe, it gets way more complicated and harder to collect.

I had a lemon law car (30+ years ago) and there is very specific criteria on what constitutes a lemon law. Basically the dealer and/or the manufacturer has 3 chances to fix a problem. Law may have changed but your problem would not have been a lemon law case. Do a Google search and find the law and you also might find a lawyer. As an aside my case was against Chrysler. Was easy and I won without having to hire a lawyer.

Seniors against crime? This is a lemon law case. Law applies to everyone and a problem car is not a crime.

I think every car I ever bought new was a lemon at some point in the first few months of paying. But when I started buying used cars I never had a lemon, it was just a car with some issues that I figured I could deal with for the lower price.

go directly to the manufacturer. they have district and regional service managers that will examine your complaint/car. the dealer does not want a bad rating on their record. They lose too much money in incentives, bad CSI ratings are like kryptonite to them.

It may be different today, but when I had a new defective Chevrolet pickup truck, the regional service manager did nothing but refer me back to the dealer. The only way I got action was when I went to the national headquarters. The regional office was only used as a delaying tactic.

We recently had a Jeep Wrangler that was a lemon. We weren't getting much satisfaction from the dealership so I figured out the email address format for Stellantis and emailed all their top executives about our issue (several times). I also posted our story to several social media outlets (linkedIn, Facebook, etc). They quickly had a Customer Care Manager reach out to us and ended up buying the Jeep back from us. Don't know if this would work for you - we had a pretty compelling story (Jeep was at the dealership for service for over 4 months...).

Brand new 2023 Buick Envision only had it 3 months and the turbo went out. They have no part to fix it and don’t know when they will get the part. It’s been two months now.

The 2025 Envision has been in production since August (I don't know if they're available yet in the USA), so yours was apparently a left-over when you bought it? It hasn't been a huge seller for Buick. If I'm not mistaken, it is the only Chinese manufactured vehicle sold by the Big Three. I believe the entire drivetrain is produced solely in China, so I'm not surprised there are problems with the parts supply chain.

Keep in mind, with the Lemon Law, you're going to pay for the Depreciation/Mileage on the car. You're not necessarily going to get back what you paid ... you're going to pay for what you've used.

A lot of missing details. Did the dealer supply a loaner? Then just a minor inconvenience. I would call the manufacturer. Not available part? Good chance they can find it for you. It is possible yours failed because they are all defective. Possible your dealer has unpaid bills and is on credit hold. Sounds like A RUN AROUND. Were it ME, I would show up at service counter when they are busy. State your ISSUE politely but LOUD AND CLEAR. Demand to speak to the manager-get names etc

Far as attornies the bar association will give you a list of names. Easy to look them up on the internet. Honest review? Based on experience I have a negative opinion about attornies and our legal system

Amusing way to look at it. Anything will eventually need service. our current world things are not made to be serviced. Cars? Well you need to take the engine out to change the 4th spark plug.

Does not help BUT due to government controls-pollution safety etc you cannot bypass parts. A turbo is a high speed fan that is powered by engine exhaust. Imagine a high speed fan run by hot engine exhaust. Lubrication is a nightmare. Car computer may prevent you driving the car without it working.

I suggested contact the manufacturer. Today so much is done by computer. The deale orders by part number. May not be a BRAIN in the procedure. PN xxxxxxxxxxx for you may not be avail.
