Used Frank Gay excellent service
I read some negative posts regarding Frank Gay, Since four out of four plumbers did not return my call I called Frank Gay. A new bathtub installation. All I can say is the employees showed up on time, did the work, cleaned the area and were professional. I will call them again if needed

I've used Frank Gay a number of times and I have a project set up next month for them to replace my home water filter. They have always been professional. But whatever you do don't sign a contract with them, I did, and they constantly called me to tell me I was due for my inspection. It got to the point I felt I was being harassed.

Billy 41....count yourself very lucky. BTW, you didn't state the price you paid. they can do the work, but at what price? Nobody said they can't do the work.

Maybe the other plumbers were reputable and *busy* while Frank Gay & crew were available due to lack of repeat customers?

We would never use them just from the negative comments (and there's a lot of them) on social media. We've used Mike Scott when something was needed. Got a call-back right away from the company and someone was also sent out fairly quickly. Oh---I had a friend use F.G. early on after they bought the other's business. She said it was a "nightmare"---she fired the tech and got someone else to do the job. I'm surprised F.G. is still in business here but they'll always prey on folks who don't know any better!!

I had Gay service my water filter. I asked them for replacement filters. They quoted me $230+. .....and they called Jesse James a thief. A set of filters cost $30 and can be installed easily.

I believe or at least heard that they now have a third party handling their incoming customer calls/complaints. Maybe that will help resolve those alleged customer service issues???

Perhaps they just think Villages people are easy to rip off. Plenty of negative reviews on here. However, I did a Google search and most of Googles' 4000+ reviews are 5 stars. And The BBB rates them A+. So, I would guess that they could do a lot of overcharging in The Villages and get away with it.
