Finally here
 

After the move from hell, we are finally here!! Move from hell is continuing now that we are here, but at least we arre HERE. W@e have been enojoying it here already....more resataurants in Colony Plaza then in the town we moved from. And being a a shopping center in 10 minutes? A miracle..closest one to us in NM was almost 2 hours away,one way. This is heaven!!
We have already gotten our driver's licenses and car registered. Took about 20 minutes. People here are are efficient!! I am looking forward to meeting my totv buddies soon. Gertie says she wants to meet Checkers ASAP!

Thanks all. The move is just a temporary inconvience..Pturner is right,as usual. I already told her that I want to be as wise as she is when I finally grow up. no sign of that happening any time soon though.

Don't know anyone yet after 3 years that doesn't lke it. Just be careful not to join everything at once, you'll wear yourself out but it's very tempting. After 3 yrs, we picked and chose the activities we like the best and it sort of evened out, some play and some relaxation, just perfect! Welcome

Going through a little bit of hell to make it to paradise is worth the trip! Congrats!

Welcome home! Soon, the hellish part will be just a memory....you'll look back and realize just how strong you are. Have a great time getting your new home in order....it take a while, but it's fun...sort of like starting life all over again. ENJOY!

WELCOME!! I know exactly what you are talking about re: "The Move from Hell"!! Took us weeks to decompress after getting here in our rental and then I went totally nuts and bought a place of our own and now we are getting ready to move again! HOWEVER, we rented furnished and all of our "stuff" is still packed so hopefully this will be a piece of cake.

If yall arrange some kind of meeting for newcomers, let me know so maybe we can make it too! We've been kind of "laying low" til we get permanently settled!
