Apple Delete Key
I've had MicroSoft forever. I got tired of all their issues and went Apple this time. I have one problem I'd like to correct if possible. Why does the delete key delete in the opposite direction. Being an avid MS Word user (I used CrossOver to install MS 2008) I am used to deleting from left to right.
WAIT!!!! This might not be a Word issue as my email also deletes backwards. Is there a setting in Apple application somewhere to reverse the direction? |

Hi Tom,
Try standing on your head. :D |
Backspace?
It's been years since I drove a MAC, but I suspect backspace key (or the MAC equivalent) does the trick. But then my brain is waterlogged from swimming.

I use MAC and if you get the numeric key pad there is a 2nd delete key.
|
Try using the fn key on the bottom left corner at the same time you use the delete key.
|
... or simpler still, pop the key off and re-insert it upside down. :D

Tom, an easy fix...just place your screen in front of a mirror and as you delete, just look at the mirror.
|
... Or, drink those two pina coladas you're holding and you won't care which direction it deletes.

Yeah those pina coladas are making me look like a drunken Irishman. When I went to the last Critters get together for the first time, there were no name tags. Yet, someone recognized me and said "You're Tom. The guy with the pina coladas." Hope to catch up with you someday. |
