This is a good story that I have to wonder how it will or will not play out in the coming months. President Obama has a Connecticut Social Security number and never had a Connecticut address. Hmmmmm........this could be good. Press Secretary when asked about it gave a giggling bumbling non-answer and walked out of the press room.....hmmmmmm.

World Net Daily has a lawsuit for a records release filed which may be interesting.

I don't know where this is all going to go, but seriously; has any President had this many questions as to his birth, identity, schooling or sources of income and wealth?

Snopes said someone may have "misread or mistyped" in the first digit of a Honolulu zip code as a 0 instead of a 9, when setting up Obama's Social Sucurity number. Snopes said it isn't true, so that settles it. Right? :undecided:

I just do not understand why there are so many questions about the president. I don't know of any other president who has had nearly as many controversies.

There would not be any questions about this president if the media had spent 1/10th the time investigating this charlatan then they did wasting their time going through Sarah Palin's trash.

If he ever talked, behaved, or showed any signs of being emotionally connected to the American people as a whole, the doubts would have been disspelled a long time ago.

My social sercuirty number is not from any of the states and I was born in the lower 48. How about that? Had some question my SS because of the beginning numbers.

Unless you know WHO applied for his Social Security card and WHEN and from WHERE, you can't go on any of this.

I have a card that, according to the old table, says I was 'born' in New Hampshire - but the fact is that my adoptive mother applied for my card when we LIVED in New Hampshire. What's worse is that she applied for TWO cards for me - and they were BOTH issued to me.

In the past few years I fixed a few mixups with my social security numbers - got rid of the 'spare' and let the SSA know about it and all my records now agree with the one SSN I used since I started working. On top of that, I used those records to straighten out some other problems that prevented me from getting a passport (since I was illegally adopted and had no 'paper-trail' connecting me to my actual birth certificate).

I wouldn't use Social Security records to prove much of anything - I'm living proof that one shouldn't.

VG, you are so right. Seems that the major media centers only look at the "Rs" and pass over the "Ds" for some reason. I always say you can tell birds by the flock that they keep. Obama has been given passes on so many things, that I now doubt anything that he says, but that also goes for the whole bunch in Congress and all the Czars that he has appointed. I have found that anytime the government says something, just the opposite will happen.

djplong - had almost the same mess you did, except being a military brat it was passport names. Back in the old days, the military issued family passports, so when mom remarried and we went to Japan, my little sister and myself was listed under my step-father's name. Our last names where never legally changed. What a mess when I was up graded to a TS with Atomic Clearance. Took a while, but finally got it all corrected.

Someday, somewhere down the road, after there isn't any more agenda for the media, there will be a Pulitzer, and a multi million dollar book and/or movie deal that will finally expose what has been the greatest con job of all time, perpetuated on America by a stupid "Hope & Change" slogan.

The rest of us already know this president has been given a pass.

The story concerning Connecticut social security was issued in error because a 0 was used instead of a 9 is dubious at best. I personally believe old saws are telling "If it quacks like a duck", "where there is smoke there is fire" "Birds of a feather" Add to that the approach Team Obama has used to deflect this story is wanting. The latest I have read on this subject is from a guy names George Ure list Urbansurvival.com. He claims that he believed birthers were crazies until Obama released what he claimed was his certificate of birth. He studied the birth certificate and did some research. He makes some credible claims.

He says that according to the certificate Obama was born august 1961. The certificate claims his father was a Kenya citizen yet Kenya did not come into existence in 1963, Before that it was a British Protector. He also claims that they list Obama race as Africa-American but back in 1961 they were called Negroes. He further claims that the hospital given as Obama birth in Hawaii did not come into existence until 1978 when two hospitals merged.

I personally am not going to track this down. It will do no good. Not because I believe it is wrong but because Obama has the best running defense for him and no one is going to penetrate that big fat lie

I wish Trump did not give up. He has the money and influence to have at least a sporting chance.

...and here's a clue. When it was a British colony, you know what it was called? "British East Africa" until 1920 and subsequently the "Colony of Kenya". So it had BOTH names.
