I read this definition
a few times, and it truly makes sense.
It's what we have in Washington, DC. Finally, a way to describe Obama and his voters. Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc’-ra-cy): A system of government where the least capable to lead are elected by the least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to sustain themselves or succeed, are rewarded with goods and services paid for by the confiscated wealth of a diminishing number of producers. I don't know who wrote this but it sure hit the nail on the head with the current administration and many of the past administrations. |
I agree. I love this word. Say it and spell it 3 times and it's yours!
|
You should give credit where credit is due, George W. invented the word. On his watch we had 9/11, the invasion of Iraq, the hurricane Katrina fiasco and the collapse of the mortgage industry. Yep, George more than qualifies for that prize.
|
a great new word to fill in that void for those governing local, state and federal.
And as usual there is the always counted on retro bush slapping even when the thread does not mention any affiliation of R or D for the definition...must be some sort of guilt complex. And I wonder what the future looks like to those who can only see backward? btk |

Yepper, it's all "W" fault, not one Democrat has ever been at fault. Oh. Well, "W" can take it. Wonder how many Presidents we will have to go through before everyone stops blaming "W" for everything.
BTW, he is responsible for the Cardenals winning. Just thought I would throw that in for some unknown reason. |

memason, please do not restate my views of Obama's lack of performance based on measurable promises and commitments or lack of commitments as "bashing" Obama.....I have never, currently do not and never will support, based on my experience and measuring executive performance support anybody who is not doing the job. In that regard I am outspoken about Obama and his performance.
Right or wrong (it does not matter) I voted for Clinton. I particularly did not like the shame he brought to the job.....which had nothing to do with his performance as POTUS and that also had nothing to do with R or D just what the current POTUS did, at the time. Yes, some of us really can make it without the need for even bringing up the R or D....I bring it up when needed as I view it very specifically as ones choice....not as a measure of value added or not as some just feel they must establish. The issues and those who are governing at the time and how they are performing at the time is the only value. Retro measuring or slapping does not add any value to the here and now. I personally do not subscribe to keeping a non performer in the job....never have...never will. btk |

First of all, You have got to be kidding!! If it was not for him we would all be kneeling down on a rug pointed toward Mecca several times a day by now. He put in place everything that has made it possible for you to even be voicing your opinion on this subject. Now even though I voted for him he was a disaster as far as domestic problems. Not the best we ever had but certainly not as bad as you think. I think spoken like a true far lefty would think. I find it curious that Obama was not on your list of bad presidents. |
Quite a few believe Obama is a bad President.
There's Osama Bin Laden, Mommar Ghadaffi, Abu al-Masri, al-Baghdadi, Hamza Jawfi, Saleh al-Somali, Muhammad Haqqani, al-Yemeni, Noordin Top, al-Shahri, al-Awlaki, and at least a dozen others. All these terrorist/murderers - and ********** - think Obama is a bad OTUS. What a coincidence !!! |
All Obama did was support the initiatives and military strategies that President Bush instituted during his eight years as Commander in Chief. It just happened to come to fruition after he left office. I find it amusing that Obama will blame Bush for financial decisions during his term but take credit for things Bush did right.
|
the use of tea ****** must make you tingly all over....why else would someone keep using the term? Certainly not for intellectual dialogue....eh?
We all know it is a term that can only used in comfort from behind the anonymity of a key board. Must be difficult to live multiple lives/faces. btk |

OK, get back on topic. This is not about Bush or Obama. The defination is about almost ever administration, congress, federal program, state or local government that has been initated by any administration since about 1913.
Any time the government says something the vast majority of the time the exact opposite happens. Does not matter whether it is a Dem or Repub in charge. This is not a topic for Bush bashing or Obama bashing, its for bashing every administration since the "Big Bang." You know the beginning of slimey life known as a "Career Politician." |
I am not a Obama lover, never have been never will be but I have to agree with this.

This is not an Obama/Bush or any other President bash. It was a defination of any administration up and including the current one. Keep on topic or start another thread with your Obama bash. I hope that you understand this now.

Uh - Oh .... looks like there is trouble in pizzaland.... In an interview airing on Fox News on Monday night, Republican presidential candidate Herman Cain says that a financial settlement was paid to one of two women who accused him of sexual harassment while he was serving as head of the National Restaurant Association over a decade ago. However, in responding to the accusations in question earlier in the day, the former Godfather's Pizza CEO said, "I have never sexually harassed anyone and those accusations are totally false ... It was concluded, after a thorough investigation, that it had no basis." He added, "I am unaware of any sort of settlement." Herman, we hardly knew ye.......... |
"Bush Derangement Syndrome" is at it's peak again. You guys are hilarious.
I thought Clinton was the first black president. He said so, himself. http://archive.newsmax.com/archives/...5/170824.shtml I see all the racists who accused Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas of sexual harassment are now putting the white robes on again and accusing Herman Cain of similar activity. More white men afraid of a black man. You Democrat racists are shameless. Must you use your fear of a strong black man to band together and try to "lynch" him. |
if the masses and the media that support(ed) Obama could accept/forget/bypass/ignore so called "unacceptable" actions/behaviors/accusations, then anybody else in the running should be entitled to the same tolerances and go-no-go gauging.
Didja ever wonder how these negative nuggets from 10, 20, 30 or more years ago just mysteriously bubble to the surface.....NOW? btk |
Really.. I don't even have to do ANY research to debunk a few of those.. But let's take just a few easy pickings...

http://news.blogs.cnn.com/2011/04/28...mixed-results/ ...seems to indicate it's never been an issue. Carter, for one, never provided his. Social Security Number? Can come from anywhere depending on where it's processed. War Powers Act? Seems to me Bush violated it as well if you're using Iraq as an example - otherwise NATO operations (Libya) aren't covered by it. ...and the PRESIDENT orchestrated 'Fast and Furious'? Contempt of Court? Yes, in the Gulf Oil case - but the administration is hardly the first to be held in contempt. Terminating American men in space? Umm.. That was BUSH who signed that order! Cut in the Credit Rating? Because CONGRESS can't get it's act together. Vacations? Quote:

"You cannot legislate the poor into freedom by legislating the wealthy out of freedom. What one person receives without working for, another person must work for without receiving. The government cannot give to anybody anything that the government does not first take from somebody else. When half of the people get the idea that they do not have to work because the other half is going to take care of them, and when the other half gets the idea that it does no good to work because somebody else is going to get what they work for, that my dear friend, is about the end of any nation. You cannot multiply wealth by dividing it.” ~~ Dr. Adrian Rogers, 1931- 2005 Winston Churchill had a profound take on socialism that validates your point that while "Ineptocracy"' is contempory in nature...the problem is not new. "Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.." -- Winston Churchill The leftists among us will never get it. Sadly, they selectively forget the blood and treasure we sacrificed fighting ideologies that have at their very core..."redistribution of wealth". Have a great day in The Villages. |
Cabo35, I wish I could take credit for that defination, but I found it on the web. Could not come up with who wrote it, maybe someone can who does more research. But thought that it described not only the current administration, but goes way back to the Great Society, Social Security and other government give away programs, to include the unconstitutinal creation of the FED.
What most people forget is that communism, socialism and the rest of the ism's work really great until they run out of other peoples money. The United States did not defeat the USSR, the USSR defeated themselves by running out of money. That is what will happen to this country if we don't stop spending on programs that do nothing to create wealth, like NAFTA, CAFTA and unfunded by worker pension/medical care funds. Everyone believes that military retirees get unfunded pensions, but if you look at the difference in pay for the same jobs, vs military to civilian, you will see that military pensions are actually funded by the lower wages. I would not have had any problem with the government withholding a portion of my salary if it was equal to what a civilian worker got for the same job. An example is the government sent me to a beautiful foreign country, to meet exotic and wonderful people, who shot at me. Show me a civilian job that has the same description for the huge monthly salary of $108 per month, I was a PFC at the time, and then we will talk about pensions for the military that are, so called unfunded by worker contributions. |
Figmo keeps talking about the £108 - this is a European keyboard - he made as a PFC. That was 40-some years ago. Currently, a PFC makes fairly good money plus benefits. Most soldiers get to the E-4 or E-5 level in their first 3 or 4 years. They make a decent salary plus excellent benefits. Lifers usually retire at the E-7 or E-8 and have excellent salaries plus excellent benefits. This is their choice of a career.
Yes, Junior Bush was the most inept President in history. No doubt in the history books about that. |
