Cain accuser advised by her 13-year-old son to "tell on him"???
What kind of parent (other than one who'll do ANYTHING for money) tells her 13-year-old son the gory details of her h*rny stories, and then tells the whole world by broadcast media that this is how she's raising her son, and takes his advice on this mess she is feeding???
But then, maybe he already knew when he saw the pole installed in the rec room at home. "(CNN) -- The only woman so far to come forward and publicly accuse Herman Cain of sexual harassment did so in part with her 13-year-old son's encouragement, she said Tuesday on CNN. "He said, 'Mom, I think you need to do the right thing. I think you need to tell on him," Sharon Bialek said on CNN's "American Morning." "That confirmed it for me. If my son is saying it, I want to be the role model for him and other kids growing up." http://www.ksat.com/nationalnews/29709362/detail.html |
It will be interesting to hear how the Cain campaign committee will respond. It is unfortunate that Cain did not step up before he decided to run and get this all behind him. You don't want it to be true but past experiences with denials from politcians haven't exactly reinforced voter confidence. I am keeping an open mind and trying to stay focus on what candidate best offers the skill sets needed to execute the duties of this office successfully

As for your statement, "It is unfortunate that Cain did not step up before he decided to run and get this all behind him", if it did not HAPPEN, how could he have "stepped up" and "gotten this all behind him" before he decided to run?? When professional liars are involved, who could possibly know what particular fabricated scenario they're going to come up with before he even runs? Like I said, the accusations could very well be true. However, the length of time lapsed and the fact that no charges were filed makes the timing of all this very suspicious. |
How about this little story of Ms. "fourth accuser" meeting with and hugging Herman Cain at a Tea Party event a month ago. Curiouser and curiouser.

and her lawyer is representing her for FREE...doesn't take a rocket scientist to smell the rat(s) on this one....politicians and lawyers are only superceded in in dirty tricks and lies by lawyers who are politicians!!!!
This Cain BS is in the category with Bill Clinton's classics: I smoked pot but I did not inhale!! and I did not have sex with that woman. btk |

If these accusations are true would it make Cain any less a good president? I don't think you'll find anyone without a blemish in their record. It's just some haven't been discovered yet. Back then when this was suppose to happen there wasn't any such term as sexual harassment, it was just coming on strong to the opposite sex. These Republican candidates are at a disadvantage because their records all through their lives can be checked. Try doing that with Obama.

I still think it says a lot about the Cain accuser, Bialek's character (or lack of it) when she broadcasts that she told her 13 year old son what allegedly went on with the groping etc. My grown kids would be totally grossed out to hear their mother tell about a scenario like that. And they would also realize I had not been "victimized" by such alleged incident. They would be enormously embarrassed to have such attention drawn to us. It's sleezy, period. |
People who say they haven't been paid for their stories often get other forms of compensation. It's very disingenuous.
The media may fly them into L.A. or N.Y., put them up in 5 star hotels with all the trimmings, get them a "book deal" with a sizable advance, etc, etc. But, they're not being paid for their story? B.S. |
just amazing what I am reading on this thread. I am at a loss for words.

New report breaking the wire that a son of the Herman Cain accuser works for the left wing website Politico that "broke" this story and has published almost 100 stories about it.
It's getting curiouser and curiouser. |
Even Jon Stewart has questioned the retainment of THAT lawyer and where they picked to have their little press conference (the Friar's Club).

Ahh come on folks, everyone know that teenagers know everything, just ask one, they will tell you that is a fact.

Question for You
She stayed "silent" for 14 years. Would she have broken this "silence" if he were not running for office....any office, but most especially a big one?
I think not. JMHO |
"Washington Post
Posted at 10:29 AM ET, 11/09/2011 Cain accusers Bialek, Kraushaar planning joint news conference By James V. Grimaldi Two women who allege they were sexually harassed by presidential hopeful Herman Cain have agreed to hold a joint news conference so they can air their stories together, the attorney for one of the women said. Joel P. Bennett, who represents 55-year-old federal employee Karen Kraushaar, said he was planning the news conference with Gloria Allred, who represents Chicago homemaker Sharon Bialek, 50. Details of the joint appearance have not been worked out. Kraushaar’s name became public on Tuesday, but she has not described her alleged harassment by Cain when she was working at the National Restaurant Association more than a decade ago. Bialek went public Monday, accusing Cain of groping her in a car after the two dined together in Washington in 1997. She was seeking job advice from Cain, who was head of the association at that time. Cain forcefully denied the sexual harassment allegations at a news conference in Arizona on Tuesday. Kraushaar left the restaurant association as part of a settlement of her harassment complaint, Bennett has said. She went on to work in communications for the federal government--first for the Immigration and Naturalization Service, and most recently in the Treasury Department’s office of the inspector general. On Wednesday, Kraushaar confirmed a report by the Associated Press that she also filed a workplace complaint at INS. The complaint asserted that she had not been allowed to work from home after a serious car accident, and also accused a manager of circulating a sexually charged joke about men and women via e-mail. The e-mail complaint involved an explicit joke that has been widely circulated on the Internet, a former superviser told the AP on condition of anonymity. The joke lists reasons men and women are supposedly like computers, including that “in order to get men’s attention, you have to turn them on,” and that women are like computers because “even your smallest mistakes are stored in long-term memory for later retrieval.” Kraushaar told the AP she considered her employment complaint “relatively minor” and she later dropped it........" |
If the National Restaurant Association paid "10's of thousands of dollars" to Ms. Kraushaar as part of a harrassment settlement - there was a lot of truth to the allegation of groping by Cain. I watched the denial by Cain and it made me laugh. He was acting so self rightous but basically you could see he was angry this was finally found out - him being a sexual predator.

The thing that gave me pause concerning Cain, at least on THIS issue, was seeing the tape of him saying how he'd handle sending something (I think it was the Obamacare bill) back to Congress.. The video has him starting off by addressing the then-Speaker of the House as "Princess Pelosi".
I was shocked that a Presidential candidate would say this in front of RUNNING CAMERAS. A *comedian* can get away with it. A politician who isn't running for office might get away with it. But that is SO far beneath 'normal decorum' that it DOES make you wonder how he views women. I am *not* saying that this is proof of ANYthing. I *am* saying that it made me think that there may be more to these allegations. It was like it was a brief peek behind the curtain and had me wondering. |

Your post forgets the vile comments by her, and while I see your point,I just wonder why this Cain comment "shocked" you and you completely forget what the SPEAKER OF THE HOUSE says about the President. WOW |
Pelosi quotes on then President, George W. Bush:
"Bush is an incompetent leader. In fact, he's not a leader,'' Pelosi said. "He's a person who has no judgment, no experience and no knowledge of the subjects that he has to decide upon.'' "His activities, his decisions, the results of his actions are what undermines his leadership, not my statement," Pelosi said. "My statements are just a statement of fact." __________________________________________________ __________________________________________________ ______ There's much much more in the way of her hateful comments about "her president" while she and he were both in office. I'm just posting these 3 for now. No President was treated with more contempt by the party out of the White House than former Pres. Bush. by the leaders of the opposition party. |
Quote:
How about the current Vice President of the U.S. saying "in front of RUNNING CAMERAS" IN THE WHITE HOUSE, no less: "Man, This is a Big F**ing Deal!".......Guffaw.....BackSlap Barry....Guffaw..... Gimme a break. And by the way.....when Cain said "Princess Nancy", the use of her specific name says he was citing HER, not any other woman nor women in general. Also, "Princess" refers cynically to her POSITION in national rule, NOT her personhood nor sexuality as a true "sexual harrassment" incident does. |
the only conclusion I can reach is that the term "*******" must have an orgasmic effect....hence the habitual use.

Whether it is or not, your posts are immature, consistently insulting.....it is the TEA PARTY MOVEMENT, and not "*******"......it is Herman Cain and not "The pizza guy" your nickname for, I assume ex Gov Romney is insulting at best. What part of your character is so flawed that you must insult and ridicule. Have you no opinions to share other than insults ? In my way of thinking your insults of public figures with whom you have disagreements is as bad as insults to other posters. It is chronic and is a negative on this forum. MOST posters can disagree with someone, and still not have some kind of psychological need to demean them with little pet names. Please feel free to send this to the administrator as an insult to you...they should be aware of some of the characters on here |

I have my own opinions of Ms. Pelosi that aren't terribly flattering ones. |
Once again, the National Restaurant Association would not pay anyone around $45000 in separation money for just an allegation against their CEO. They paid to keep her quiet and to make the situation go away.
Don't forget there were several women who also came forward and said the same things about Hermie. Well, Hermie's popularity numbers have now dropped to the single digits and getting close to the zero. Mittens keeps his numbers pretty constant. By the way, have any of you uber-conservatives ever tasted Godfather's Pizza? It is every bit as bad as Hungry Howie's in Wildwood. |

My apologies....your quote..... "I was shocked that a Presidential candidate would say this in front of RUNNING CAMERAS. A *comedian* can get away with it. But that is SO far beneath 'normal decorum' that it DOES make you wonder how he views women." led my dumb brain to think that what shocked you was a PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE saying something in front of RUNNING CAMERAS was the shock....further stated by "a politician who isnt running for office might get away with it" and I just wondered why the person THIRD in line for the President of the United States saying worse about a sitting President might shock you, but you are right...it is about Cain and I can only suppose that you are shocked quite easily since the threads on Speaker Pelosi, to my knowledge, had no SHOCK from you Perhaps the definition of normal decorum is what separates us |
You caught me. I should have been more careful with the way I said it. Pelosi wasn't running for national office where the scrutiny is something that, to be honest, "mere mortals" can only imagine.
This is a case where two wrongs don't make a right. Cain's comments in NO WAY absolve Pelosi of responsibility for her own uber-partisan insults. |
