New building on 44
 

What is the building going up on rte. 44 across the the Butter Bean restaurant? It's at least 2 stories high, but has no windows that we can see. Is it the first of the new proposed shopping center?

We thought it may be the new movie theater:popcorn:...that's just a guess.

I would love to know what it really is.

It is in Brownwood....I think. Do you think some kind of place for larger performances? That would make a lot of people happy.

Or maybe a BIG indoor pool ?

another hospital?
 

Wasn't there something a while back about another hospital branch? Maybe not Leesburg/Villages Hospital, but another one? Can't remember.

I don't think the regional theater is in the building stages yet - still in the planning/fundraising stage per the latest POA newsletter, if I'm not "mis-remembering."

If your talking about the big tall building on the west side of BuenaVista that's the new movie theater for Brownwood.

Brownwqood is going to way out on 44? I thought it was going to be closer to 466A.

Sales Rep told us it was the new sales center, but I think it is a cinema.

Between 44 & 44A.

But if this building is on 44 how can it be the Brownwood movie theater?

I thought that Brownwood was going to be midway between 44 and the midpoint from 446 to make it a central point for people living out there. In other words a little past 466A.

Is there a map of where Brownwood is physically supposed to be?

cause that is where Brownwood will be.

between 44A and 44 there is no 6 in these numbers..the big building would appear to be a theater (no windows) but you never know!

I think you all are wrong the building and site is the new rec center for wildwood this is within the town limits of wildwood the project has been in the works for many years will include a shopping mall tothe west of powel road it was thought that the rest of the county needed something new been the great build up of the villages it was felt the citizens of the area needed a place to hold the dances and other activities.

the first big box-like building is the movie theater. that and the bank will be the first structures erected. i guess they will also open first, but that will not be until late fall 2012. until the time when more retail opens down there the traffic and customer count at colony plaza will get really unpleasant.

This was announced at the state of TV a few months ago.

Isn't it great how this group can pin down these burning issues so quickly!
