Something's changed on my TOTV home page....
I'm logged in, however I don't have things that were normally there....for instance, listings such as Today's Posts, New Posts, my log in info at the top right, whether or not I have private messages to respond to. Not sure what's happened, but it's like that on all my devices that are connected to the internet. Mike's hasn't changed. Not sure what happened or is happening???

Have you tried to turn off your computer, unplug it, counting to 10 and bringing it back up?
|
I've done all that Angie and even had Mike take a look at it. It's like I'm on Edit....can't even log off if I wanted to since that option doesn't show up. It has to be something with my computer. Thought it was my phone, also, but that seems to be working normally. Maybe for Christmas, Santa will fix whatever glitch has brought this into being.... ;)
Merry Christmas! |
I've noticed the time of the posts are not right. Seems to be a couple hours into the future... Anyone else ?

OK in Syracuse
Hi all,
Seems fine here however my google home page is messed up. Everything is now a black back gound. Maybe Gracie it's a malware attack? Has everyone tried cleaning out cookies and run a malware scan or virus scan? Is the clock on your computer set OK. |

Holiday users?
Maybe there are just too many users online now. My FB page has been acting up all day!

Just got on using IE, HOWEVER, my last post above this one wasn't there. Not sure what the heck is going on. Mike is using Foxfire on his laptop and all is well......well at least so far... ;)

Weird to say the least. On my laptop now with Firefox as my browser and everything is normal. It is also normal on the laptop with Internet Explorer. The only place it is screwed up is on my desktop using Firefox. New one on me.
|
Everything is normal on our browser. Let us know if you continue to have any other issues. We've also looked at on our mobile device and Ipad and all is normal.

Here's what I've got......no User CP, Today's Posts, etc.
For some reason, couldn't get it post in a PM to you. http://i144.photobucket.com/albums/r...aod/totv-1.jpg |
Just came on
About 3 out of 4 threads had a red X and a statement of multilple threads. I refreshed the screen and it all cleared up and went to normal. I have no clue what that was about. :posting:

Exactly the same as mine looks! |
Glad it is not just me. I have a Mac and with firefox I get the same thing...so I cannot click "new posts" anymore.....BUT, when I open and use Safari it is normal like it always has been.
I do have a lot of tabs open with firefox, but since others are having the same issue, I'll just use Safari until we know what it is about. Thanks! I thought it was just me...... Frank |
I'm having the same issue. Sent a screenshot. seems to be a firefox issue, or maybe vista. Or maybe the internet police thought I was having too much fun. MERRY CHRISTMAS ALL !!!

UPDATE: Just installed Firefox 9.0.1 on my main laptop and all is right with the world.... ;) Mike is working on my other laptop, which was even worse with Firefox than my main one. Once he installs the new version, hopefully this will correct that computer.
Maybe with upgrades done to the website, my older version of Firefox just wasn't as compatible? UPDATE More: Installed 9.0.1 on my other laptop and things are working normally for TOTV through Firefox. Maybe those who are having the same problem I had might also need to upgrade to a different version. Hopefully, for them, it will solve the problem. Merry Christmas! |
