The Newtette Speaks
One of the former wives of Newt did not have anything good to say about him at all. Well, he did ask if his mistress (now his wife) could move in the house with the two of them. Newt asked for a divorce after finding out Wife #2 had MS. He previously had gotten a divorce while Wife #1 was being treated for uterine cancer. Hey, this is a man with real character - REAL BAD CHARACTER.

Not to excuse Gingrich at all, but in the end, if he somehow gets the nomination and runs against Obama, fidelity to country is what has to be the Number One Priority.......
Obama, the African Colonial By L.E. Ikenga "Had Americans been able to stop obsessing over the color of Barack Obama's skin and instead paid more attention to his cultural identity, maybe he would not be in the White House today. The key to understanding him lies with his identification with his father, and his adoption of a cultural and political mindset rooted in postcolonial Africa. Like many educated intellectuals in postcolonial Africa, Barack Hussein Obama, Sr. was enraged at the transformation of his native land by its colonial conqueror. But instead of embracing the traditional values of his own tribal cultural past, he embraced an imported Western ideology, Marxism. I call such frustrated and angry modern Africans who embrace various foreign "isms", instead of looking homeward for repair of societies that are broken, African Colonials. They are Africans who serve foreign ideas......" http://www.americanthinker.com/2009/..._colonial.html |

This what Newt calls family values. Fortunately for us, he has no chance of ever becomming POTUS. What's even scarier, is he has said that if he becomes POTUS, the failed 1/2 governor of Alasky would likely be a part of his administation. Now - that is scary !!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe she could be Secretary of Geography - or maybe Ambassador to our allies, North Korea. Possibilities are endless. |
Forget Iran and the Strait of Hormuz, forget the rejection of the energy and jobs producing Keystone Pipeline, forget the nation killing ObamaCare plan with it's committee which has legally unchallengeable decision power......................what does bitter ex-wife Maryanne Gingrich have to say?; that's the big news.
Pathetic. |
do I detect an inconsistency of position on Gingrich?
In another thread some were touting the merits of his being the candidate and winning. And then in other threads lower the boom on his character. Very politically consistent however! btk |

Interesting how we had a married president with a family getting (you know what's) in the oval office from an intern and the democrats defend him to the very end and even to this very day. Never mind all the other allegations of harassment by other woman. Newts x-wife from 12 years ago comes out (Gee, what perfect timing) and now the libs are dog piling on him acting like saints judging everyone else.
Just like I said, disingenuous hypocrites. Or.. maybe nothing more than scared little leftist children afraid their anti-America savior and current food stamp presadent is going down in flames. |
A scorned woman???? We don't know what happened and given the topic's "negative connotation" trying to disprove it places Newt, as it would anyone, at a disadvantage and his ex-wife knows that. There is one bright light in all of this true or untrue the Hollywood people are into to this sort of thing and may end up contributing to Newt's campaign...found money can't beat that

For months and months and months the big news was birth certificates and college transcripts. Now that is pathetic !!!!!!!!!! |

I do find it interesting how the Dems always see the same kind of stupid things like say Newt and Clinton, as if they are TOTALLY different. It really gets old. |
What Am I?
Quote:
Here, I'll give you a riddle to try to figure out what I am. I hoped that Hillary would have thrown Bill's clothes off the White House porch onto the front lawn. I thought his impeachment by Congress was totally appropriate. Now I think that if Newt Gingrich were to be elected POTUS, the public will have chosen a person with a severely flawed character and morals. What am I? |
Your quite the judge. Facts are a scary thing for lefties, especially during election years.
|
Facts are a scary thing for lefties? It looks as though the facts point to Newt being a philanderer, a man of very low morals, a reprobate, a man disgraced by his own party and thrown out of being Speaker of the House, and a man fined $300,000 for ethics violations. In order to be found guilty of ethics violations in a group like Congress, you got to be REALLY, REALLY guilty.
Toss in lying about working with Freddie Mac and receiving well over a million dollars and you got yourself one huge liability for the Republicans. |

Two different issues with no apparent parallel. |
Is Speaker Gingrich going to apologize for impeaching President Clinton?
|
Quote:
That's what got Clinton impeached, not the young lady kneeling at his feet. |
Here's the fact. It makes NO difference who the GOP nominee will be. One off the current list or anyone else for that matter, the lefties will bring out their dirt, made up or not. They will say anything and do anything to protect their liberal messiah no matter how much damage he does to the economy.
Whom ever the front runner of the week is, that's who they attack. It started long before the primaries. Even those they thought may run, they tried to drag through the mud one at a time. Even members of their families. They try to sound so concerned about peoples actions and character but in fact they will give their own a free pass every time. Nothing is beneath them and they won't even blink an eye. Watch and see. Here's the good part. People know it and it won't help them save their anti-capitolist standard bearer they look at as "the one." |
"I don't think Speaker Gingrich ever LIED UNDER OATH."
Well, Newt DID get kicked out of his job as Speaker of the House by his own party AND got fined $300,000 for ethics violations. Yep, that is a fine, upstanding character. (Satire intended - for you Republicans). |

If President Obama had two adulterous affairs and wanted an open marriage, he would be called every name in the book, but republicans are so desperate for anybody but Mitt Romney that they are willing to vote for scoundrel Newt Gingrich. I applaud their decision. What a gift for the president.

janmcn has it just about perfect. RichieLion says he can't handle the truth - to paraphrase another great American - Jack Nicholson.
|
I just don't take blindly the tale of an obviously bitter ex-wife. His own children are in dispute with their mother.
Is it true?; I don't know. Do you care one way or another? Well......we all know the answer to that. Short of murdering his ex-wife; he's still a better choice for President than giving Obama 4 more years to complete his destruction of our once free and great nation. We may not survive what he's already done, let alone give him four more years to finish us off. |

I know the scurrilous tactics of liberals and their compliant media is not going to shame them and/or you and buggy. He's still better than "The One" who you would defend the death even if similar charges were made about him. We can only fantasize that infidelity is the worst thing Obama would engage in. The calculated and engineered decline of our country is a lot worse than would be an avid interest in the opposite sex. |
Kinda losing it Richie.
|
I would say the same about gingrich as I said about cain - I don't care about their personal life as much as I care about their public life. Newt's personal life would seem to indicate ethical and moral issues which concern many people, but it pales in comparison to someone who was sanctioned and basically forced to resign by an overwhelming vote of his peers. How does that indicate an ability to lead a government or a coutntry?
|
After what many view as a partisan investigation lead by Nancy Pelosi, and 83 or 84 charges were thrown out, the one they wouldn't compromise was one in which Gingrich said he signed a paper in error, and which gave Pelosi the raw meat she was ravenously seeking. Probably stretching the truth there, but it was a long time ago.
Pelosi will have her own fish to fry in the future. Her unethical dealings are going to catch up with her one day pretty soon as will many others in this corrupt administration we have now. The only places I'm really hearing this stuff is on this forum, and unaccountable PAC commercials run by the socialist liberal complex. We'll see how far it get them. |

Rick Santorum is the correct conservative candidate. It's very clear now. There's not much more illusion. I don't know if he can win the nomination; I don't know if he can win the general election. (unlike everybody else on this forum, I've no crystal ball, it seems) I just dislike all these attacks generated by the liberal media complex and then spit back out at me by all these liberals who accuse Republicans of not thinking for themselves. "Delusion": Taking it personal is going to get you in trouble. Try just addressing the topic, you'll last longer. |

1) Yes, Clinton was a complete dog of a husband. I think everyone knows that. However, he did leave office with an approval rating in the 60s. A good many right wing children had to be of that opinion for it to be in the 60s. Bush has ratings that high only after 9-11. He left office with ratings in the mid 40s I believe. 2) Newt is also a dog. They can both be dogs. Newtie dog was doing the SOME THING that Clinton was doing while leading the attacks on him for impeachment. You want to talk hypocracy....start with that little fact. 3) Obama is not Clinton...Obama should be so lucky. 4) Maybe Marianne Gingrich came out now because this lothsome creature of a man is now in a race to be the repub nominee...and he can do some real damage to the country. While he laid low, collecting his ill gotten gains, there was no need for her to say anything. 5) I am not afraid of Obama losing the election....I would be scared if I though Newtie had a chance in Hades. |

IMHO this is just another attempt by the press to dig up trash to report on. This is just the latest example of the lack of character that the press poses today. I don't know what ax this ex wants to grind but I pose the question " How much was she paid for her staged, rehearsed story?" Isn't this convenient of the timing? All stories, especially divorce stories become distorted over time. The press seems to be able to manufacture trash in order to further their (the press) agenda. The press has made up their minds who they think poses the most risk to defeat our current president and have a mission to discredit anyone who could pose such a threat.

Everyone's got to stop rewriting history on Bill Clinton.
The impeachment was because HE LIED UNDER OATH!!!! It wasn't because of his employee kneeling before him. |
Give it up on Newt. He was kicked out of his job as Speaker of the House by his own party. He was fined $300,000 for Congressional ethics violations.

I'm seeing scared little lefties that know Newt would take apart Obama at the seams. |

Romney is not nearly so eloquent in his own defense and will have "humm-ana, humm-ana" moments with attacks prepared for Obama to clout him with. In a debate Newt will take Barry to the woodshed. |
