Where’s Rebecca Kleefisch’s Phone Call from Obama?
 

Wisconsin Lt. Govenor Kleefisch to date has received no phone call from President Obama, and no support from NOW or MSNBC or from Media Matters or any mainstream media outlet which haven't even acknowledged the vile attacks on her. This is the real War On Women.

While Democratics continue their wailing about a “war on women,” Kleefisch has battled vile misogyny from liberal detractors. When lefty Wisconsin radio host John “Sly” Sylvester accused Kleefisch of performing “fellatio on all the talk-show hosts in Milwaukee” and sneered that she had “pulled a train” (a crude phrase for gang sex), feminists remained silent.

The difference between Sandra Fluke and Rebecca Kleefisch? The hatred of women is justifiable in the eyes of progressives so long as the woman isn't advocating for individual liberty over state control; so long as the woman is a conservative.

What other conclusion can you make?

The other conclusion I can make is that people in elected office are public officials and they GET this kind of thing. Just ask our President.

WOW.....seeing at least two people find justification for this kind of action is quite scary !!! Again, depends on what that voter registration card says I suppose. And we wonder what is happening with our country.

Just look at any conservative talk show's comments on Barack Obama. They get just as nasty in their comments. Same with those made about Hillary Clinton.

Nobody disputes that there is nastiness on both sides, although these comments about Lt. Gov. Kleefisch are way over the top compared to anything I remember being said about any Democrat woman by any conservative speaker.

The point is that the liberals are only morally outraged ,and driven to despair and demand the head of the speaker on a pike when the comment is made about a liberal woman.

The comments refered by the original linked article about the LT. Gov do seem stupid, mean, and just plain wrong. They also seem irrelevant but they are free speech. And, it does not seem to me that anyone on TOTV has given any justification for them nor justified them.

This is MY opinion.....free speech is fine...that does not mean that I need to justify, condone or whatever word you want to use for the actions.

These words and actions, IN MY OPINION, are wrong under any and all circumstances. No matter the party, no matter what...I could never say these things about my worst or mortal enemy.....that is just how I feel. You can feel differently if you wish but IT IS WRONG.

You can tell me why, but there is, IN MY OPINION, NO why's for this kind of action. The fact that you and others can even find a "why" is scary to me. That is my opinion.

Not mine to respond to but the only reason I posted here was that YOU and another poster are not upset one bit by this action....it actually is stomach turning to me no matter what party. Why you folks moralize based on party affliation never seems to amaze me.

The post is not about the radio station but you folks who are outraged in one case and very accepting in another. It is repulsive no matter what party is involved.

Many law students have been activists before going to law school. Does not mean anything.

I can certainly agree with Richie that the nastiness DOES happen on both sides. I've seen it time and time again.

The comments on the Lt. Governor were certainly not *justified*, IMO. It's like how, although I'm a fan of Bill Maher, his comments on Sarah Palin were out of line. It demonstrated to me an uncharacteristic laziness in coming up with words to describe his feelings towards her.

I can tell you that there are some posters and I do not want to be so arrogant as to list their names here, but posters who have disagreed with RICHIE and responded and had a good crisp dialogue back and forth without the items you listed.

WHY ? Because those posters rebutted RICHIE with facts...not the politics of personal ridicule. If you discuss facts with RICHIE, he may not agree with you but the dialogue will be civil and you will not have the feeling that he is being condenscending. THAT is what the forum is about...the exchange of ideas and thoughts, not little "shots" at people. A high school student in Gross Pointe had her March-Women's Month posters taken down. They were posters that called for Respect for Women-liberal, conservative, and Islamic.

It's even getting worse. This same guy is attacking Lt. Gov. Kleefisch's family in the same way the left attacked then Gov. Palin's family.

Her crime?....being supportive of Gov. Walker.

Awful things are being said about her children, and still the MSM, (I like the NFM better) is not reporting this story, nor is any NFM outlet upset by the misogynist comments directed at this woman or the hurtful things being said about her husband and children.

This is why, for me, liberals can stick their phony outrage over Rush's comments, and they know where.
