Must have been a hard job to put a description to-- watch dog owners at postal stations, count them, see if they clean up poop, watch for poop being put in trash cans, park near trash cans so as to discourage poop disposal in trash can, establish control group by parking away from trash can and watching for poop dumps.

That's true, but the title was "spot on" (pun intended) and does accurately reflect the content of the article.

I chuckled at the mention of taking away the trash cans front the postal box area and the mention of their "appropriate use". Is it "appropriate" to throw in there the "poop" that ADVERTISERS leave in my mailbox.....pounds of junk mail every week??

I wish the junk mail senders would come and get the trash bag full of the poop they sent, plus the dog poop people have thrown in there.

It's reassuring to know that we have a "watchdog" community. What a great way to count the number of disgusting violations and then spring into action by writing a district newletter about this in depth study. If we have just a little extra manpower to spare we should repeat the study but this time stick the violators noses into the dog poop so they can understand what the rest of us don't want to put up with.

My Mother still thinks that it's full of Spanish people.

I've never had an unpleasant experience at a trash container. Does that really happen? Does it smell bad later in the day? :22yikes: (I don't have a dog.)

Reminds me of the saying "some people's trash is other people's treasure"!

I would imagine later in the day when the sun shines on it and heats it up then the odor 'improves'.

With no entertainment for 30 days at SS I suppose that LSL will be crazy busy during my LSV 6/17. :22yikes:
