or the one you are planning to build or buy..

Your smallest house?

Your biggest house?

Your favorite house?

Your first new house?

coralway 05-11-2012 09:49 AM

can I add "none of the above"?

it's strictly an investment property.

DebbieB 05-11-2012 09:52 AM

Our home in TV is our first new house. Not the biggest, but my favorite as it does NOT have three levels and stairs.

Your favorite house? well, the houses we brought our kids up in are the favorites cause we didn't move to TV yet. (#1 smallest and #2 biggest)

Your first new house? yes it will be, #4 overall in 37 years

So the house we live in now is #3 - smaller than #2 only because we do not have a finished basement ...

Our TV home will be our first one level house! We're both very happy about that.

No, no, no, and no... But we are loving the layout of this house for this time in our lives!

Posh 08 05-11-2012 12:30 PM

We plan on downsizing to a CYV. It will not be my smallest, my first house back in the 70s had no garage and smaller square feet. Anybody want to buy a mountain view home in rural Virginia? :cryin2:

skyguy79 05-11-2012 12:46 PM

Last time I checked, my house is still in The Villages... at least for the time being! :22yikes:

I coitintly hope not, but you never know. I have more to this post, but I'll post it on a new thread so as to not hijack this one!

Your favorite house? In some respects, yes. In others......not so much! :icon_wink: A long story.......... (zzzzz...... zzzz........ zzzz.....)

Your first new house? It's the only house we've ever bought that was a resale.

But if we ever wind up in TV as frogs, we'll probably buy a different home. For me, it's "a garage thing"........ :D For Sandy, it would be for more elbow-room.

Bill :)

It's my largest house and my favorite house! Actually it's only the second house we've ever owned. Lived over 30 years in our previous home....and as a child, lived in only one home. That house is still in the family. Now ask me about cars and the list will be long, long, long😏.

Village Home

Our first new home Gracie and definitely a smaller home.

Only because of no basement or attic and no outside garden tool shed. This = a reality check.

The big decision do I bring the push mower or just the trimmer?

Pturner 05-11-2012 08:39 PM

Smallest? Yes (of only two as adult and one as child, like Pooh)
biggest? No
Favorite? House no-- but by far my favorite place to live.
First new? No 'cause it was a resale

scrapple 05-11-2012 09:10 PM

Housing

Your smallest house? Since there is no basement, yah, I guess
Your biggest house? no. see above
Your favorite house? time will tell, but we have no regrets
Your first new house? Yes, the other was from 1920

l2ridehd 05-12-2012 05:34 AM

Smallest - yes, favorite - close, not really sure yet, have had homes on the lake that were great and a mountain chalet with a 40 mile view, and was a resale so no.

BarryRX 05-12-2012 06:06 AM

Hi Gracie....this is our 7th house. Our 3br 2ba CYV is our smallest house since the kids are grown and gone. It is our 2nd "new" house. It is my favorite, not because of the house, but because of great neighbors and a great lifestyle. Although, all the others were my favorites while I was living in them!

We hope our new house in TV will be our favorite. It will not be the smallest (1100 SF), largest (3600 SF) or first new house. We have never had a one story and are really looking forward to that, retirement and many new friends in TV!

Your smallest house? No, but our smallest was our very first and only used home we bought as young newlyweds and we lived in it just 3 years.

Your biggest house? Absolutely NOT

Your favorite house? Absolutely NOT...I want a bigger home with 4 bedrooms (only have 3 now) and much larger lanai. I'm having a difficult time with downsizing.

Your first new house?

No, it's our 4th new home.
