I am, so is my daughter-in-law, husband, brother-in-law, nephew....and a few friends, too,

Here's this year's list in case you don't have it....
Alberto, Beryl, Chris, Debby, Ernesto, Florence, Gordon, Helene, Isaac, Joyce, Kirk, Leslie, Michael, Nadine, Oscar, PATTY....:) , Rafael, Sandy, Tony, Valerie, and William.

Well, one of these is my middle name. Some of these names can be male or female like Pat, Chris, Leslie, Sandy, and Tony.

2012 Names
 

Our family has several Michaels. There will never be another Carla on the list. The first one was so bad they retired it.

Our son's name is Michael. I'll have to ask him if that means he might be visiting us this year? :clap2:

As a William, I hope we don't get to mine.

Even though I spell it this way (Debbie), I'm 4th down. My son's name is Michael.

My name is not on the list so I Goggled to see if I have ever been one. I found out that I have never been a hurricane or a tropical storm. Not even a tropical depression.



Now that is depressing. :(

My name next comes up in 2014 (Laura). One sister (Karen) is next year. Other sister (Julie/Julia) is in 2016 -- maybe I will be in TV by then :).

Both of us are on.....Helene and William.....hope we are kind and weak....better yet.....hope they don't get to us.

Good idea. I Googled it and found that in mid-January 1969 I started and ended as a Tropical Depression and in the middle became a mild (Cat. 1) hurricane.

I never made landfall and didn't kill anyone! Yea!

... Oh, but GG (and Russ) will be glad to know that there still is no P in Lake Sumter. ;)

I cannot resist. Unless that is you ignore all the walking dogs who usually do not miss a spot where another pooch has marked her territory.

On the subject of hurricanes, is it going to be a busy year from them in the Atlantic??

I have been a Storm all my life (last name) but not on the list!
