"just to get re-elected"

Read this tweet somewhere today and thought how appropriate.
'Love it when people accuse the POTUS of doing something "just to get re-elected". Which is the same as saying he did something most Americans want.'
:boom:

No one can argue with that logic. :MOJE_whot:

Shortly after President Obama announced this executive order in the Rose Garden, he hosted an LGBT event at the White House. Now if he could only get the African-American and women's vote, he would win re-election. Oh that's right, he already has those votes locked up by wide margins.

It's only to reinforce a minority segment he is losing to Romney in ever escalating numbers, not because a majority of Americans agree with him.

He is taking the rest of his demographics for granted and figuring all the rest of the liberal lamebrains have nowhere else to go and will vote for him anyway.

I believe he has wagered incorrectly and the biggest demographic he needs, the independents, will begin to vanish in his polling.

We'll see what "The Amateur" does then.

now that he has delivered a gift to the Hispanics you remember the voting block he has locked up by wide margins....does that mean the other locked up blocks of black and women can look forward to a hand out as well.....to shore up the wide margin locked up voting groups?

While he is so busy shoring up the votes he has locked up by wide margins, please let me know when he shifts gears from taking care of Obama's needs to doing something for America.

I guess anyone who disagrees with you is mentally challenged, huh Richie? All "lame brains"?

It must really be boring and lonely having only the smart people to talk to.

Guest 06-16-2012 03:18 PM

Some people take themselves much too seriously. :(

That's all you picked out of my post to comment on. I guess you've joined the club.

My colorful description aptly fits in this case.

Hey, VK, you are now on The List!.

The list of people who's motives are always suspect, and conclusions never taken for granted. That is correct.

I am amazed to think how ignorant people can be to believe that obama can make a better country out of the mess we have. He hasn't done much to correct any of the problems we have and some day with all the give a ways he doing we will pay and pay dearly, its only a matter of time. He's going to give every thing all these groups just to get votes. Thats the only way he will get reelected not by any honest campaign . This guy is a loser.

OK then we should all assume it takes more than 4 years to get started doing something that shows progress toward ANY of America's major issues. Note I did not say show me what he fixed. Show me initiatives on the economy, unemployment, energy independence, party cooperation, transparency and the housing crisis (just to name a few) that are underway that are expected to bring improvement.....when....who is responsible.

All we get is the same old story of how much worse things are than he initially thought when he took office. Three and half years later he is still saying the same thing (this week) except now he is adding that it takes a long time to fix the ills of America.

No initiatives on the major issues in three and half years......and only more talk of how much longer it is going to take (an still no indication of initiative).
And his worn out, phony presentation of how he can't get anything done because of congress.....blame....dodge and weave.....no initiatives....no improvement.....and the nerve to ask for 4 more years.....

Completely and totally out of touch with the reality of America in peril.
There is no way to use the words leadership and Obama in the same sentence.

Now here we have an example of "The pot calling the Kettle...."

But that's ok, I see we have been honored now to RED lettered comments attached to each posting. Geeze how did we miss it all.

Yes, some are not in touch with reality, but it is not Obama. ;)

Hey Daleman: "Did something most Americans want." ?? We don't know that

Beside which tell me what the difference is for a businessman who accepts perks from vendors in exchange for utiizing their companies to Obama pandering for votes among such groups in order to gain buy their vote. Do you really believe this type of behavior is good for America? Just think about who owns this guy now and what they will demand in return. Payback is a (you know what). Anyone who can be bought, is up for sale is useless and is of low character. I wonder whose agenda we are following presently. This in my view is a conflict of interest and can only damage America. So whether it is Democrat or Republican congressman, state employee or private sector employee such behavior ought to be clearly rejected by all of us.

Thank you for noticing the hypocrisy.

This is not the first time VK has chastised me in this way, as I've never noticed him doing that to others.

I guess I'm special.

He has chastised me also and I am still waiting for him to step up and apply the same logic he applied to me to others.

But, do not be disappointed...you are still special Rich !!!!

Personally, I would rather go to the Nancy Lopez Country Club. However, if the Bucco-Lion Club would serve the excellent food and drinks as Lopez CC ..., but I would insist on sitting at the left end of the bar.

The constant battle does work up a thirst.

Both sides do well at doing or saying whatever they think it will take to get elected or re-elected.
