If you all recall a thread recently concerning the scam that illegal immigrants were using to fleece the IRS of millions and millions of us taxpayer money...excuse me BILLIONS of dollars.

Well, piggy backing the Presidents stunt....

In 2011, U.S. Treasury Department Inspector General Russell George released a report revealing that the Internal Revenue Service doled out $4.2 billion in refundable tax credits to illegal alien in 2010 alone.

The refunds were given in the form of the so-called ‘earned income child tax credits,’ which are designed to alleviate the tax burden on low income wage earners with children."

This regards the use of the ITIN number

This is just plain sick

With Obama's actions and now the Senates and adding in all the other perks that illegals get like in-state tuition and such, I'm wondering if it might not be a good idea for young Americans to renounce their U.S. citizenship.

It might make their lives a lot easier.

And the Democratic line is and has been how the other party is holding things up.....Reid and the senate are the ones who have controlled everything.

I am upset, although hopefully it wont last, that the Republicans are not making LOUD noises about this major lie being fostered by the Democrats.

Again, I can forsee many "October surprises" in the next few months...at least that is my hope.

is it safe to say that illegal immigrants are receiving MORE in $ and benefits that minmum wage earning american citizens?

how about an Obama supporter speaking up about what they think or why they think paying out the $ 4 billion dollars to illegal aliens is OK?

I expect nothing as a response just like not ever getting a response to eliminating illegals, dead and unqualified voters off the voting rolls.

For some of us it is easy...if it is wrong or broken, fix it. Both the above are wrong. A conclusion most honest with themselves people will reach....regardless the letter R or D!!!!

I have some ocean front property in New Mexico that I would like to sell to you. Now that's a scam. Really, it don't matter what letter you have after your politicial name, giving money to illegals is illegal, or don't you understand that. When the bubble pops don't come to any of us cons that you accuse of posting scams. You get to fend for yourself.

I'm gonna brush up on the ol espanol. The Commonwealth is talking about cutting our pensions. The spanish may pay off.

Are you counting the money being taken by illegals in this country and then packed off to Mexico (that is the 3rd biggest revenue stream they have) ?

This thing is going to become a bigger issue as time goes on but it will become an economic issue to the detriment of Obama !

When I first heard about this, I couldn't believe it. I thought "Hey, if you take deductions, at best, you get your Adjust Gross Income down to zero and you get back any taxes you paid in". Then I heard you COULD end up with "negative tax due" - meaning getting back far MORE than you paid in because of Child Tax Credits. This is just flat-out WRONG.

Proof positive that the Democrats are just like the Republicans in that, if the other side proposes it, then you have to be against it.

This was a previous post from a couple of weeks ago when we were discussing the use of the ITIN.

Bank of America has a service called "Safe Send".

As I have stated in the past, I worked in the "Illegal Alien Capitol of New Jersey" (New Brunswick).

A large part of the city consists of illegals. They rent their homes with another 2 or 3 families in order to save on the rent.

They open their checking and savings accounts with their consular cards and
passports and their Individual Taxpayer Identification Numbers (ITINS) that we talked about a few weeks ago.

All they had to do was get the bank name and account number from their relatives in Mexico and wait a few days for it to be verified.

They could then return to BOA and request that the bank transfer funds from their accounts to the awaiting relatives in Mexico. FREE OF CHARGE!

(By the way...Safe Send was advertised to them as an enticement to open up checking and savings accounts.)


And, yes, Bucco...those funds did include their "tax fraud refunds".

Thousands and thousands of $$$$ are transferred from New Brunswick alone.

Sorta really makes you sick, doesn't it? I sure felt that way.

And how anyone can call this thread "rubbish" and a "scam" is a mystery to me...I know, I know...Bin Laden is dead and the economy is Bush's fault...:loco:

and now that up to 800,000 more illegal immigrants are going to have the oppty to legally take more jobs away from americans - they will be able to send even more $$ to the folks back home! saw them on the tv news snippets so happy about obama's giving them a chance to avoid deportation and instead be able to finally work here for the big money and support the folks back home! sheesh! we'll collect their taxes and the folks back home get more gravy. so sad!

now just why is it we are not hearing from the very verbose capable Obama/Reid supporters giving their opinion of whether they support paying the billions out to illegals. There certainly is no lack of words when talking about the Obama agenda or calling names or ridiculing others opinions. Most of us are hardened to all that and automatically sort the fluff from substance.

So let's hear you views on handing billions over to the illegals? And what you think about Harry making sure it does not get to the floor.

The senate has been getting a pass for a long time relative to any criticism and they march along in step with just stopping everything, yet the hammer always comes down on the house..wonder why ?

But they both suck actually, but this illegal immirant thing, to me, is embarassing...to so openly court for votes by one party has got to be embarassing for others as well
