So we are here! Moving truck is gone, and we are dealing with the boxes. Have our very own Villages Resident ID's and everything! And we ordered our golf cart! What more can you ask for??? Life is good! Looking forward to meeting TOTVers at Crispers and "around the bubble". :wave:

Welcome neighbors!

bandsdavis - good for you! We are 3 weeks away from the mover stuff, but by the end of the month we will be in out new home too! We bought our golf cart when we were there to buy our home, and the dealer called yesterday to say it is finished and to ask when we want it delivered. Dang, house and cart waiting and we are still here!

Here's a little advice: we did the same before we packed. Now that we are unpacked, we're doing it all over again! Despite weeding out quite a bit, we still have too much stuff! :cus:

I've made 9 trips to Salvation Army Thrift Store and 2 to Goodwill. We've done a yard sale, and my DW looked in my office/computer room and said, "Darling, it looks like you haven't even started". We are starting to pack now, and I bet we will say the same thing when we get there.

I keep reminding her we are moving to a home with almost a 1,000 less square feet, we must continue to "dejunk, dejunk, dejunk"!!

I'll be sure to show her your post! Thanks for sharing the "get rid of it before you pay to move it" advice. :bigbow:
