Everyone that ever started a business in this country was given the worst insult of their life by guess who. You loafers out there that worked your ass off some times mortgaging your home worrying about how to keep things going should be offended more than anyone. obama has insulted the military and now the rest of the country. What more to say. Some say what doesn't destroy you makes you stronger well he is out to destroy you it's obvious.

The only ones in agreement are the socialists. The ones who envy the businessman. the ones who Hate the Rich. They can't appreciate all the businessman did to get to where he is. The struggles, the hrs he put in, the risk he took, and the employees he employed. Bravo to the small businessman!! Thank God we have people willing to work hard, take that risk, etc...these vague posts are useless. The liberals have no footing to stand on. The great dictator has exposed himself - the real Barrack Obama - the Great Destroyer!!

Obama once again displays in full concert volume his complete lack of knowledge or understanding of the business based constituency. His community organizer/politician only background verbiage will betray him every time.

And anybody that supports his position on THIS SPECIFIC SUBJECT has no understanding as well....just a partisan duty to fulfill.

This group would do well holding signs or chanting at political rallies. Leave it to someone else to develop intelligent questions for use in the upcoming debates, for instance.

There is really no need for further questions in the debates. The Obama campaign made the mistake of letting him speak without a teleprompter, and thus.....

He revealed his true ideology that government is the source of all production, innovation and good to humankind.

And ideology is ALL that matters with him.....not anything practical like considering how a small business owner has to pay all his costs of doing business and his employees, before he pays himself. If there is nothing left after expenses to take home to pay his own bills, he closes down the business, and the employees no longer have a job.....which means they are not paying in the taxes that Obama and E. Warren's precious ROADS are built with.

the ONLY reason obama wants a middle class is so they can support those who are and will be enslaved by government dependency!

OK. I read it. Where is the distortion? If you're talking about the fact he mentioned infrastructure that is in place, that has been mentioned. It makes what he said sound silly. He needs to stick to his teleprompter.

Oh, Well since "Media Matters" says it then forget about it then, It never happened. Obama doesn't think what he said.

HE SAID IT!!! He means what he said. He thinks business is a leach on the economy rather that the life blood of the economy and your obvious "connected at the hip" reaction to anything that might make your leader and saviour look bad or leak out the truth is sad at the very least.


Media Matters is a great place to get your liberal fix just as Fox is for the right.

Do you think that when Romney finally puts out more tax returns and the left rips him a new one by distorting the truth Media Matters will step in, in defense of Romney, doubt it.

JanMcn - You just have to remember that these conservatives only hear 1) what FAUX News tells them; and 2) only what of that is repeated over and over again. The repeated distortion was one of the propaganda techniques used Adolf Hitler in his lies to the German people about the Jews in Germany.

Obama. Media Matters and Democrats are all back tracking on Obama's remarks in Roanoke, VA claiming they were taken out of context. It appears the Bainers are getting banged and "they can't handle the truth"

What I am saying is he can add all the other comments he wants but he still said "You didn't make that someone else did" and I say yes I did and yes they did make it.

He believes, as I think you believe, that small business is bad and they need to pay up. If you are a small business person then you know that we already pay up. If you are not, you don't know what you are talking about!

I'm sure they didn't. Just parroting what Rush or Fox Noise had to say on the issue. ;)

I'll try to explain what he said in simple terms. Steve Jobs could not have developed Apple if someone else hadn't already invented the internet. McDonald's would not exist if someone else had not invented the automobile. Microsoft would not exist if someone else had not invented the telephone.
Get it? It's sort of like 'it takes a village'. Somebody has to build the roads to get to businesses. Somebody has to lay the wires to connect the telephones and internet. I don't know how to explain it any simpler.

Sally Joe you are spot on and even if his reference was infrastructure Obama forgot thhat gas taxes pay for them.

First of all thank you for trying to keep it simple so I can understand it!

Second, your explanation is flawed in a big way. In your view of how it was all figured out for us helpless entrepreneurs, we had to wait until the "government" came up with the internet, roads, electricity, trucks, trains you name it then and only then we started a business to use this great new thing provided us.
The real thing is those things came after small businesses created the NEED for them. They were not put there and then businesses trying to figure out how they could be used. I know you and many in the government think that roads and internet and train etc. came first but putting it "simply" small businesses needing these things because of their success and forced the old mother of invention to go to work.
Further more none, and I mean none of these "government" provided services could not exist without the taxes collected from individuals and businesses.
So to keep it as simple as I can, Government would not exist with out us feeding the machine with money.
Your belief that government somehow deserves MORE money because small businesses know what they are doing, despite governments road blocks, is fatally flawed.
Say it all you want, it does not make it true.

We are the government, not subjects of the government.

The President's speech is pure unadulterated UnAmerican Marxist dogma.
