I think it was a kernel of Bill's popcorn that got stuck in the high voltage relay causing it to lock and therefore not transmit messages properly. Since Bill said he fixed it then I'm betting he was involved and having Gracie upset certainly got him moving on it!

Bill-n-Brillo 07-18-2012 04:46 PM

Wasn't the popcorn itself but the goo that passes for the butter that messed the do-hickey up for a bit. All better now!

Bill

Bill

HE SAID DO HICKEY !:1rotfl:

Dancing Queen 07-18-2012 05:30 PM

Gracie, glad you are back, hope none of the Goo oozed into your computer do-hickey.

Bill-n-Brillo 07-18-2012 05:51 PM

Fortunately, it just put the do-hickey on the fritz for a short while. We'd have all been REALLY upset if that goo would've gotten into the gizmo.........it'd have been 'lights out'!!!

:pepper2:

Bill :)

Pturner 07-18-2012 06:50 PM

Gee, and all this time I thought Memason fixed it by creating an app for that.

coralway 07-18-2012 07:14 PM

asianthree 07-18-2012 08:19 PM

Glad it's fixed. Severe withdrawal suffered. I know Gracie had something to do with it but she'll never tell.
Or maybe it was Lake Weir Living. dum-dee-da-dum.

jblum315 07-19-2012 06:24 AM

I'm sure the black bear in Winifred had something to do with it.

jackz 07-19-2012 07:18 AM

Made me as nervous as a gerbil in a key west pet store not having TOTV...

You betcha! And today we almost had another X-class flare. :22yikes:

"EARTH-DIRECTED X-FLARE: Big sunspot AR1520 erupted on July 12th around 16:53 UT, producing an X-class solar flare and hurling a CME directly toward Earth. Forecasters expect the cloud to arrive on July 14th. Its impact could spark moderate to severe geomagnetic storms, allowing auroras to be seen at lower latitudes than usual. Check SpaceWeather.com -- News and information about meteor showers, solar flares, auroras, and near-Earth asteroids for more information and updates."

And then today. "Sunspot complex AR1520-1521 erupted again on July 19th, this time producing an M7-class solar flare that almost crossed the threshold into X-territory. NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory recorded the extreme ultraviolet flash. The explosion produced a bright coronal mass ejection. The cloud should miss Earth. (They said 'should')

"Although the explosion occured on the other side of the sun's western limb, our planet could feel some effects. The blast site is magnetically connected to Earth by backward-spiralling lines of magnetic force. Protons accelerated by the flare are being guided to us by those lines of magnetism, and a mild radiation storm is underway."

Get out the tinfoil hats and the do hickeys. :p
