Kudos to John McCain
For those who think I never have anything good to say about a Republican this will shock you. I am proud of John McCain for criticizing that crazy Minnesotan Michelle Bachman and other for their outrageous and unsubstantiated lies about the infiltration of the Muslim Brotherhood into US government. And this is a woman who wanted to be President and aspires to be Vice President and sits on a very important, sensitive House comittee?
John McCain's coming out against this, as well as the time he corrected another Minnesota nutcase for saying that Obama was a Muslim is indeed commendable. Now I suspect the right wingers will turn on McCain as they have turned on Chief Justice Roberts. Fear and hate and conspiracy theories. :yuck: |
When did McCain become a Republican??

You bet I did hold my nose and vote for McPain. What choice did I have?

John McCain is wrong again and a wimp again. What else is new?
This is why McCain has no real standing with conservatives. H. Clinton's aide's family has known ties to the Muslim Brotherhood. Of course, she herself has absolutely no connection with her family's Muslim Brotherhood ties. She is close to Egypt's new Muslim Brotherhood President, but she has no Muslim Brotherhood connection. Uh huh............OK............sure. I would caution folks about falling into conspiracy theories. They are not only untrue, they can become mentally addicting and unhealthy.

Well as that old saying goes "Just because I am parnoid doesn't mean no one is chasing me" comes to mind here. McCarthy was highly criticized and violated and rightly so. but not because he wasn't right but becauseof how he went about it. After the fact proved his allegations were true How does this happen...simply because during the ordeal tempers fly egos get bruised because everyone wants to be right rather than everyone wanting to do the right thing.
John McCain has my respect because of his incredible prisioner of war story. I voted for him based on the fact that a guy who could stand tall at the worse time of anyone's life deserved my vote of confidence. but it does not blind me to his blind stubborness at times. Europe is dealing with the effects of a liberal immgration policy concerning Muslims. Places like Minnesota are not dealing with it also. I lived there and witnessed it up close and it takes on a different character. In the Minnepolis School system it had been reported in the newspaper that their school system has to deal with 185 different languages so how does anyone deal with that and provide a quality educational system?. The refusal to being a part of this great melting pot hurts us all and the resistenace is rampart. When 9/11 occured Muslim living not far from the scene danced all night in the streets as reported by a relative of mine who lives there. I am a compassionate human being I'm the one who cries while watching sad movies not my wife but at some point we must set aside emotion compassion, etc and be logical and prescient in our thinking |
I agree that McCain, being a military man, should have more concern about Muslim interference in all aspects of the American system. They cannot be trusted in my opinion. The most moderate Muslim will stand by the most radical Muslim if push comes to shove. That is an instinct of the Human race. Your own tribe becomes the best choice in a crisis situation.

And the hard part...........landing back on the carrier!

John McCain is not an asset to the Republican Party. I bet he gets all his invites to the big Beltway parties, though. |
there is absolutely no truth to Bachmans allegations. She needs money for her campaign so lets smear a muslim, that always works. McCain did it publically others repubs said the same thing. Richie do some research on her source and I think you might say she has made a fool of herself and quite possibly hurt this country. She is already backtracking from her statements but she has already slandered a decent person. I hope she gets sued.

I only hope the the result of Bachman's McCarthy-like behavior is similar to his, but somehow I don't the tea partiers can give up their conspiracies.

Lets see what we have here .This is the same person who FALSELY suggested that the HPV vaccine caused mental retardation. Now she accuses a woman an American citizen discredits her reputation based on no real evidence. This woman is a member of the House intelligence committee. If she were truly concerned wouldn't she keep her request for investigations secret so as not to alert other potential infiltrators? Instead she sends letters then goes on talk radio. Hmm. Her two major sources for this conspiracy,Walod Shoebat and Frank Gaffney. Look these two guys up. How does this woman get elected?

All I can enviion here with some of these posters is little LuAnn with her fingers plugging her ears and loudly singing out LALALALALALALALALALA

I have heard first hand of the problems in Minneapolis and St. Paul with the great number of immigrants from Somalia and Mali as well as from Vietnam. I understand St. Paul has most of the Vietnamese and Hmong immigrants while Minneapolis has the Muslims from Somalia and Mali. Most of these are congregated by the University area. There have been problems with the Muslim taxicab drivers not picking up people carrying live pigs. I have often wondered how a refugee from the African desert area feels in their first Minnesota winter. You would think that states better suited for them would be the desert areas of Utah, Nevada, and Arizona (except for Cowboy Ariapo). |
thanks for your BIG injection of humor

If this is your fear... if we allow more of THEM into OUR country, all those stranded pig carrying taxicab needing Christians (wouldn't be Jews as they wouldn't be carrying a pig, right?) then I say close the borders (snark in case you don't catch it) Frankly it sounds like a perfect opportunity for a good Christian to start a cab company with the slogan "We're bacon for your business" or maybe "Let us drive you, no porking problems" Let your imagination run wild. |

Speaker of the House, John Boehner (R-OH) is the latest republican calling on Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann (R-MN) to stop her attacks on Huma Abedin. Boehner, at a press conference, called Bachmann's Islamophobia 'dangerous'.

John McCain is a war hero.........OK, I get it. Now he's a flawed and failed conservative who's an embarrassment to his party............in the opinion of many, including me. Politically speaking.........he's a wimp. You don't like me saying that?...................I don't really care. |

I would say that this argument is over. Once my buddy Buggy is relegated to just calling people names, I know my side has prevailed.
|
so lets see if I got this correct....her father knew a guy who knew a guy who knew a guy who was committed to the Muslim brotherhood in some way. That's what you call proof. Totally fabricated, total garbage. And to do this to an American citizen? You got to be kidding. And could you please answer me why make it public? I'll give you the answer, she needs money for her campaign simple as that. This tea party darling is a real scumbag plain and simple.

Don't be so sure - there are many very conservative areas in MN - and she is a prolific $$ raiser. And being governor is a higher profile position than being just 1 of 435 House reps. |
Good for Michelle Bachmann!!! There are numerous ways in which the Muslim Brotherhood and its american proxies are working today to establish Islamic law (SHARIA) in the U.S., with willing HELP from Barack Obama and others among the America-hating left.
We must support politicians who are not only aware of what is going on but willing to stand up against it. To learn more about Sharia law google Dr. Werner and study all he has to say on the subject. The man is brillant and has been studying Sharia his whole life. Another great source is Pamela Geller, the woman who protested the building of the mosque at Ground Zero. Get your hands on one of her books And read away. Sharia is already in this court system. The same ones who don't believe Obama doesn't love America are the same ones who will deny Sharia even exists. They will be the cause of their own demise. |

Jay Leno said if John McCain, who picked Sarah Palin for his running mate, thinks Michelle Bachman is crazy.....believe me she is crazy. But on a serious note she should be removed from the Intelligence committee, something John Boehner did not comment that he wouldn't when asked by a reporter. Bachmann crossed a line, even for the wingnuts. A resignation might even be appropriate. :grumpy:
