Limbaugh Does it Again

Debunktion Junction online special: Everybody panic! I think the conservative talk radio host Rush Limbaugh is not telling the truth about something. - The Maddow Blog

We must all send a request to Rush, and don't be harsh, just tell him, yes he is funny, but he is costing the Rep Party votes in Nov. Every time He or Sarah or Rick Perry or Bachman speak, thousands of independents rush to Obama. We must ask him and the other REP crazies to just lay low until after the Election. The only people that have any respect for these nut balls are the conspiracy folks and they will vote REP if Son of SAM becomes the nominee, so they must shut up for a few months to give Romney a fighting chance.

Rush seems to have scored one for the other team with this one. That's because I doubt if any liberal would bring this ridiculous conpsiracy up unless in a joke about Rush Limbaugh.

Guest 07-19-2012 06:39 AM

Liberals ONLY joke about Rush period, I am worried about the fence sitters that might vote for Romney. When they hear this stuff from the right, it makes them fall over the fence to the Left. Romney needs all the votes he can get in Nov and Right Wing Extremists do so much harm to the NORMAL Republicans of our party.

Guest 07-19-2012 06:48 AM

Like every corporation in the world and like every organization in the world has to have their bull dog and Rush has taken up (self appointed) that banner for the Republican Party.

Personally I can't handle the Krugman, Matthews, Limbaugh etc. I can't even handle Shepard on Fox too theatrical and hence not convincing. I prefer the Brit Hume's. My all time favorite was Bill Buckley. It is why i suppose i lean toward Mitt romney because he appears level headed businee like and truly interested in an exchange of ideas

sort of like the Bob Beckel's , Allen Comes, Juan Williams, Michael Moore, etc... They make you want to vomit. None of them can debate Rush. He would take them down everytime. Not only do I love Rush, I love Sean, Mark Levine (brillant) Neal Boortz, Michael Savage, and of course my favorite Glenn Beck!! No one tops these guys who give their ALL to this country!! Would I love to see Beck vs Obama?? The great dictator wouldn't stand a chance.

Well, at least we have a good insight as to where hard-core wubers get ALL their information. Let's all say, "FAUX NEWS!":loco:

This is a stupid story by an ultra left wing mud slinging commentator that's been discredited so often herself, that using her column to attack Rush Limbaugh, who has conceivably more listeners in 5 minutes to his radio program than Maddow could garner in a week, is a monumental joke.

Give me a break. Maddow??.........you're using Maddow?

And this story........can you say "mountain out of molehill"...........who cares about this stupid little story. You guys are just so desperate now...........

Guest 07-19-2012 08:12 AM

Richie, please give me an example of the brilliant commentator Rachel Maddow being discredited. Thank You.

Bain Capital is named after Bill Bain. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bill_Bain_(consultant)

FYI Rachael Maddow is a graduate of Stamford and a Rhodes Scholar. Rush Limbaugh is a college drop-out, to say nothing of a drug addict with erectile dysfunction.

doesn't cut it for me - grew up with a neighbor who was diagnosed as a genius - he could not qualify for the local first aid squad - he passed the written exam but could not tie a sling to hold the examiner's arm. one can be book smart and have no common sense to speak of.

Nobody's read through my voluminous links of Rachel Maddow idiocies yet??

Rush Limbaugh has more real talent in his little finger than this pathetic joke of a political commentator. That's why he's "number one" by a huge margin and Maddow doesn't even make the list.

I don't click on right-wing nut-job websites. I don't want to contaminate my computer. Here's an idea for you and njbchbum, don't watch Rachael Maddow and I promise I won't listen to Rush Limpbaugh.

janmcn - i have often tried to watch the rachel maddow show to try and understand the liberal slant on daily and recent issues. it might be the show i have tuned in, but i have found her commentary to be vile, repulsive, demeaning and such commentary leads me to totally discount her credibility as anything other than the party claptrap. some of her commentary has gone so far as to give me a headache or feel sick to my stomach. that's a similar reason why i can't listen to limbaugh. the two of them are equal wing-nuts in my humble opinion and i feel badly for anyone who lives and dies by their commentary swords.

We actually agree for once nj. Although I will say that Maddow is extremely intelligent, but has that far left arrogance. Limbaugh has the far right arrogance, and is an outstanding self marketer, but not much else. Everyone who looks to MSNBC or Fox News (with a very few exceptions - Morning Joe FE) for a balanced and fair assessment of politics is simply feeding their bias.

coach - it is the arrogance of fox and msnbc that i find so entertaining - and stupid!!! but when it gets to be as vitriolic as maddow and limbaugh i can go elsewhere for my stress! ;) it is hard to take the far left and the far right seriously! but trying to find the middle ground is an absolute challenge that i do enjoy! sometimes i get that from morning joe and sometimes from the daily call with chuck todd - and sometimes not. the best part of my political day is coming here to read the differing opinions - at least, that is, when folks aren't sniping at each other. the sniping just tears the posters down to a level that isn't worth my while. glad we found a common ground this time around.

Guest 07-19-2012 08:14 PM

I would think posters would realize that Rush is nothing more than a former disk jockey who found his niche in beating up on women's liberation items and then started having ghost-written books published. He is laughing at the right-wing nuts all the way to the bank with their hard-earned (or union pension) money.

I agree with most on this thread. FOX and MSNBC are both childish in their presentation. Its not that I agree or disagree with either one, it how they say it. We all know that insults and sarcasm causes most people to stop thinking and become angry. I ask, what good does that do to help alleviate the problems we all face both Dem and Rep. Someone has to step up on both sides and start the healing. This all or none attitude is just plain wrong. Arbitrating for compromise is how this country became the great nation it is.

But it appeals to the mindless mobs. They can soak it up and regurgitate it in the lunch room the next day and be somebody. The cable news outfits put on the puppet shows and profit greatly.

This entire fiscal issue would not be at the edge of a cliff right now if both sides would compromise a little bit with each other. I know there are plenty of conservatives who feel compromise with the Obama administration should never happen. These are the people ruining the country. Both sides have to begin compromising if we are to get through the fiscal mess just ahead.

funny thing, buggyone, i read the post and felt that it was perhaps the stalwart senate democrats who refuse to consider legislation sent to them by a republican house that ought to have a sit down with them to see where a compromise could be reached...because without that discussion and compromise this handbasket that we are ALL in is way out of control.

My wife and I have been together since freshman in High School and the main reason we stayed together was "compromise" We compromise and do it her way.:1rotfl:

In a mediation hearing the only way you can reach an agreement is that both sides have to be willing to give up something. Many mediations fail because it is not logical to want give up something. I've attended more mediations than I care to remember and can tell you I have been on both sides.

So given the complex nature of government and the aggressive nature of lawyers who dominate government I am pleasantly surprised anything at all is agreed upon.

VK has campaigned continually about not voting an incumbent. I have always believed we have had too many lawyers and need to have a broader representative of our society.

What do you get with a lawyer how about a 2000 page document explaining ObamaCare. Further look at the instructions that accompany a purchase. Those instruction received final approval once an attorney researched them for any conceivable chance at getting sued over the product in question, etc etc etc.

The Senate's Democrat Leader is foolishly playing political games. Nothing will be accomplished while he holds office.

Guest 07-20-2012 09:51 AM

The House Speaker is foolishly playing political games - holding hearings 33 times on the same subject knowing full well it has zero chance of even being considered - and wasting (according to CBS) 50 million dollars in the process.

Nothing will be accomplished while he holds office.
