Using facial recognition software the Aurora shooter was identified as 96% positive for being at the Occupy New York protests.

Wouldn't the same mainstream media outlets that was quick to ponder whether Mr. Holmes could possibly be a Tea Party Patriot jump at the this story now that it appears 96% likely that Mr. Holmes was in fact a left wing radical protester?

Are the left wingers going to now reject modern technology in knee jerk fashion?

That's probably a James Holmes doppelganger. Could be him, but I really doubt it. The actual person in that photo will not be hard to identify because there were a lot of other people at Occupy NY.

This has been debunked as a hoax. It is San Francisco's Ari Cowan. He is an Occupy Wall Street leader who also lived in Massachusetts.

There is also an older Ari Cowan though on Facebook who is from the Seattle area.

I find it scary that "they" are using facial recognition software on a group of protesters.

Actually look at the pictures, RichieLion. This is a man named Ari Cowan who was at Occupy Wall Street. Someone trolled through pictures of activists to find some kind of liberal connection to James Holmes. That's a hoax in my mind if someone deliberately tried to mislead people.

It did not take much of an effort to get this name--Ari Cowan-- if you look at articles on Occupy Wall Street leaders.

So now we have RichieLion quoting a 96% accuracy rate that turns out to be fiction - and a few days ago, we had another poster saying President Obama had signed over 900 Executive Orders and Junior Bush had only signed 29 during his reign.

These Republicans sure have a great + or - margin of error in their numbers, don't they?

I have no idea what James Holmes' politics are/were. Never heard of him before July 20, 2012. He looks like a paranoid schizophrenic who carried out a very well planned murderous attack on a Batman premiere. I would say from his planning and methods he was acting with malice and premeditation and knew what he was doing was criminal.

No I have not used facial recognition software. And, who knows what the person or person's posting the garbage about James Holmes' fictional arrest at Occupy Wall Street actually did? He/she looks like he/she reduced the quality of the pictures of the Ari Cowan arrest.
