You should know that I haven't tried ANY of them, so I can't say whether they work or not. I don't cook; I just pin recipes. :a20: :wave:

That's so funny. I actually haven't tried any either, but can usually read ingredients and tell if it is something I will like. I can't wait to read yours. I already pinned the roasted cauliflower.:wave:

We will arrive back in TV on October 12. This sounds like such a good idea--better than Christmas cookie exchange! One Christmas long ago, my tennis team came up with the idea of doing an appetizer exchange. We didn't really exchange the food. Each person brought an appetizer big enough to feed the team, plus copies of the recipe to exchange. It was a huge success.

Time & Place
 

as we go along we can figure a time and place and by then determine how many would like to participate and send a message around that time. Might be week of Oct 15th or 22nd ?

Having said that, I'm enjoying the new Pinterst Village Boards...

Yeah! Either of those weeks works for me. We are fairly new to TV. Closed end of Nov 2011, but have only stayed Feb through April, then came home to MI for the summer. I've met people through pickleball and exercise class, but this would be a good way to meet people who enjoy cooking... and eating!

I'd love to come also. I have a suggestion. I believe the card rooms at the rec center are free to all villagers. If we limit it to 30 attendees or less it would be a fine place to have it. If it is just a small group, someone's home would probably be better. Just thought I'd throw that idea out there.

That's a great idea. Might as well take advantage of the rec centers if we get a large enough group.

Yes, let's keep this going! I am trying to get my neighbor interested. She loves to cook, but she's never heard of Pinterest. Nor has her daughter. She's going to try to see if her dil can show her what it is. We are both snowbirds, and she won't be back till the third week of October. I'm thinking I could give her a crash course when she gets there.

I am a newbie at this. Just love those clever ideas!
