I just re done my kitchen!! at night I always say "Kitchen Closed" now I say "Cafe is Open" LOL

(I made the awnings and ragged the back splash)

I wanted it to look like old world or Tuscan, but then I got the two coffee cups that are hanging on the island and it changed my mind to Cafe. So then I thought how was I to do the awnings.... I got foam board from the dollar tree, covered it in material from Joanne Fabric, sewed in a seam for the front flap and hooked them on with open paper clips to the blinds and used a extention rod to bring it forward to make the slant!! and presto homemade awnings!!

Many of the "chef" items look very familiar. Did you by chance get them bright and early at a garage sale in Bonita a few weeks ago? If so they look better in your kitchen then they ever did in mine! Nice decorating job!
