What restaurant is open late around TV??

Several times now we have arrived into Orlando late. By the time we get up to TV it is usually after 9:00. Is there any place other then Applebees that stays open late? Even Leesburg or Wildwood. I think TGI Fridays is open until 10:00 some nights and a couple other's stay a bit later on Friday or Saturday night.

Is there any place open and still serving food to at least 11:00 seven days a week?

asianthree 10-28-2012 09:58 PM

evans pra has happy hour from 8 to 10 but i think that's it. Guess there is no closing down the bar at 2am here

Patty55 10-28-2012 10:01 PM

Isn't there a Denny's somewhere around here?

BBQMan 10-28-2012 10:19 PM

Try either Bonefish or Applebees. They are open late.

Steak and Shake is open until 11 every night. Pretty good burgers, sliders, shakes and sundaes. On Wedgewood Ave, off 466, a little bit west of Olive Garden

getdul981 10-29-2012 05:51 AM

This is not a recommendation by any means, but I think IHOP is open late and possibly 24 hrs. as is Denny's. If you're hungry, you can make exceptions to what you would normally accept. I think I have seen a Waffle House somewhere too.

zcaveman 10-29-2012 07:09 AM

Denny's on rt 441 at Buenos Aires.

There's a Waffle House on 44 out by I-75. "Always open" - 24/7/365.

Bill :)

Margarita Republic has a listed closing time of midnight or later

City Fire in LSL also shows midnight as a closing time

Lighthouse Point used to be open until 11pm on Fridays & Saturdays, not sure if that time in current practice

redwitch 10-29-2012 09:06 AM

Does Margarita Republic or City Fire serve food after 9:00 pm? Having the bar open doesn't necessarily mean you can get a meal.

IHOP closes at 11:00 pm.

I do think this is a huge negative for TV -- rolling up the carpets at 9:00 pm is just ridiculous.

ugotme 10-29-2012 09:27 AM

Okay - don't yell at me now LOL!

As a night person, (not yet a resident) has anyone asked the powers that be to perhaps start the entertainment etc. later - say 6 or 7 pm?

Just asking?

shcisamax 10-29-2012 09:38 AM

Depends upon your definition of late. Evans Prairie is open til 10.

scarecrow1 10-29-2012 09:58 AM

Good old Micky d and the rest of the burger places.

skyguy79 10-29-2012 11:52 AM

About a mile and a half before reaching Rt 466a (Miler Rd) on Rt's 27 & 441 in Leesburg there is a Denny's on your right. Eazy in and out! They're open 24/7.

Denny's - 2480 CITRUS BLVD, LEESBURG, FLORIDA (FL)

Denny's Restaurants - Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner 24/7

Last I knew City Fire did serve food after 9pm.

Dennys on 441 near the hospital is open 24 hours. We have eaten there after 7 hours inthe ER.

KathieI 11-08-2012 10:25 AM

From the "late night person", I think the Denny's in Leesburg is a lot nicer than the one on Buenas Aires. All Denny's are open 24 hours.

I don't think you'd like the Waffle House, been there and it was only ok.

Legends serves food until 10 or 11 maybe even 12 so if you're coming from Orlando, it might be convenient. Its in Fruitland Park on 441/27. Great pizza and wings and they make me the greatest salad. They will almost do whatever you want.

Perkins is open until 11 and I think midnight on weekends.

jblum315 11-08-2012 10:25 AM

Steak N Shake is open until 11 every night.

ugotme 11-08-2012 04:02 PM

Guess I am still wondering why the entertainment is scheduled from 5 - 9 pm.
Why not 6 -10 or 7 - 11?

Guess I am just "strange!" Usually in bed to read etc. about 1 am or later.

Definite night person.

Sure, just call Barbara Vesco and ask her to have the entertainment on the squares from 7-11 PM, instead of 5-9 PM when your having dinner on the square.
Mention that if the music started at 7 PM, you'd be more inclined to buy a PREMIER model over a VILLA model.
That should do it.
And while you're at it, tell her we want our parades back too.

....unlesss things have chnaged Mcdonalds cleses early....we were very surpirsed by that when we arrived late due to a late flight....theone we tried is the one in colony.

l2ridehd 11-21-2012 09:16 AM

One problem with a few of the places listed is they close the kitchen before they close the bar. The establishment may be open and you can get drinks, but the kitchen is closed.

TomOB 11-21-2012 11:00 AM

City Fire at LSL is open late.

I believe City Fire serves until about 11:30. I have eaten there after 9.

In Spanish Springs, Gators Dockside is open till 2 a.m. and will serve full menu till about 1a.m. Margarita Republic is open late also, not sure what time they stop serving full-menu. Also the new Flippers pizza is open till midnight thru the week and 1a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

captron 12-23-2012 02:46 PM

Margarita Republic stays open late and serves a full menu. They make all of there food fresh, no corporate prefabbed food. They also offer entertainment aimed towards the villager and for the younger generation after 11:00pm.

Mallory Hill 12-26-2012 11:12 AM

Applebees is open late - it has a younger crowd. Ask your server at your favorite restaurant where they go after work to nosh and unwind.
