My wife and I both use Florian Gegaj (Geguy). Young, fluent in english, listens well, and has served our needs. Very pleased. I would recommend him to my family and friends.

I use Dr. Felix Agbo of Mt Saini Internists in LSL

gerryh1943 11-11-2012 08:08 PM

I have a wonderful Dr. Nalini Yelamanchi

seashorecaroline 11-11-2012 09:17 PM

I also go to Dr. Felix Agbo and he is wonderful!!!

california dreamer 11-11-2012 09:34 PM

I scheduled an appointment for my husband with Dr Felix Agbo, mostly due to positive referrals here and also on an online physician referral website. The score was like 78% satisfaction rate out of 8 respondants. (compared to 50% average for Villages doctors)
I see that his focus has been on women's health, can anyone respond to that? I see that previous posters here have mentioned male patients also having good results with the doctor. just wondering.

Most results are bias related. who asked ?s , who did not. who want something for nothing. we all know who the grippers are . You must do your homework and rely on referrals from your friends. Do not listen to rumors. people who are into rumors are not good resources

As an RN, I have worked with many docs in the area. Without a doubt Dr. Delbakhsh (known as Dr. Del) is the BEST in the area!!! He is our primary and we love him. Have referred several of my friends to him and they love him too! Extremely caring and listens to his patients. Located ajacent to the Villages Hospital. Phone# 751-7355. Hope this helps!

My husband went to Dr. Agbo. It seems all he wanted to know was where is your wife. When my husband asked why he kept asking about me his response was he was a gyno too. My husband walked out.::mad::

My husband sees Dr Agbo and really likes him. I see him also and really like him. He was referred to us by my neighbor who is a doc and that is who he sees.

Theresa - that is so strange. I know he is hard to understand at times, but that still sounds strange.

Dr Felix Agbo....our first visits were this week...we're both very happy...very thorough visit...he asked questions, we asked questions....he's got a great sense of humor and we both feel we made a very good choice!

I believe the reason Dr. Agbo is interested in Women's health is because he was once a OB/GYN. He has both gender of patients and shows no preference to either.

We also liked him. But the last 2 times we went to him we waited over an hour past our appointment time. Others I have talked to, have had similar experience. It was not that way when he started here. Just seems to be over booking. Seems to be a good Dr.

Has anyone seen Dr. Banala? He's in the Colony Professional Plaza.

Here is another vote for Dr. Del - just moved down to TV (furniture and car still in transit). Had a big health scare (a re-occurrence of a hospital caused infection I had right before I had to move) and Dr. Del saw me right away and figured out what was going on instantly - something far simpler. All fixed. Wow!

I see posts like these and wonder why so many people talk about the inferior medical care in TV. My experiences have been good in almost every instance. Am I missing something?

NANCY58 12-28-2012 11:44 AM

Dr. Gegaj!

I am a doctor snob in that I feel so much more comfortable with doctors with some affiliation with a large teaching institution. They aren't allowed on staff at large medical school hospitals unless their credentials are stellar.

Most of the things we see a doctor for can be handled very well with most adequate or above average training and experience. But some medical problems need to be seen by doctors who are trained in unusual and or complex problems. Two of our family members have very unusual congenital medical problems and either they or me are left telling the doctor about certain side effects of certain anesthetics or treatments.. That leaves me/us a bit insecure.

I don't care if he/she has no bedside manner and is not a smiley person. I want him to know the answers to the kinda scary things that could happen to my two very loved people.

That is my answer anyway.

mcdermottc 01-04-2013 09:40 AM

how good is Dr Del when it comes to on time appt. and drug refills

We have also just moved to the Villages and my wife took ill and was referred to Tampa General Hospital. She has recently been released and was told to get a general practitioner in this area. We would be interested in who you finally decided to go with.

CharTalk 01-17-2013 09:28 PM

A good doctor

I recommend Dr Norman Novis. Since we moved here 18 months ago we have (unfortunately) had several major medical issues. The good news is we learned how good a diagnostician our doctor is and how well connected he is to specialists. Best of all he really cares about his patients. He doesn't rush you through appointments and treats you with respect. He just opened his own practice so I know he is taking new patients. It's Patients First Primary Care at 753 Hwy 466 (just west of Rolling Acres) 352.633.7659.
