Monkey Business

It seems there are a lot of TOTV'ers who are not exactly enamored by the occasional opportunities to commune with nature afforded by Central Florida living. Bugs, gators, lizards, etc. all get lots of ink here. My friend saves me NY Times Sunday magazines so I can do the puzzles. I recently came across an interesting article in the August 26 edition about a Rhesus monkey which has been living in the Tampa-St. Pete area since 2009. Official are thinking the monkey may have originally been part of a group living along the Silver River near Ocala and Silver Springs. These monkeys were released by a tour operator in the 1930's and continue to live there. If you draw a line between there and Tampa it pretty much crosses The Villages.
... So, Any monkey sightings in TV?

The monkey was recently captured and here is a link for details:

FWPC3, sorry for the humorisque nature of our responses, but the question does conjure up some pretty funny images and ideas in our minds.

To answer your question directly, I have never seen any monkeys in TV. But if I ever do see any driving a golf cart around TV, you can be sure that I will go straight home and get some bed rest!

Dr. Oz's web site says that eating too many bananas will make you fat and turn your hair gray.

A monkey in a little coat was lost in an Ikea parking lot and immediately became a Youtube favorite (Toronto, Ontario). I tried to post the Youtube link, but I guess that isn't allowed. (If you're interested, go to Youtube and enter Ikea monkey.)

Bare, if you want the literal link to post, post what you did and then post again quoting your own post. The quoted post will show the link - see the above quote of your post.

Bill, thanks for taking the time to explain this to me. I know it's wrong to dress monkeys up like people, but that shearling coat is so cute.

Even better you can get the link to show in the first place by NOT copying the link at the top of the video page, but rather go below the video, click "SHARE" and use that link that used de instead of www. It works every time!

I know copy and paste function will not post the link.

When you tried to post the link, did you use the "share" function and then copy and paste.

I hope this helps.
