We are from Beaver Dam, Wisconsin. It would be fun to hear from other cheeseheads....

We are from and still are in the summer from Legend Lake
just north of Shawano.

The Wisconsin Club is a great way to meet others who hail from Wisconsin. The club has grown to the point where there are now three chapters. For more info see the Recreation News section of the DailySun.

You should join the Wisconsin Club! There are 3 of them here in The Villages. Also in The Villages phone book (think it's in the back) you will see all the states listed with the folks who came here from that particular state. Wisconsin has 3 pages...so there's a slew of them here!!!

So your from Beaver Dam. Do U know Art & Gail Schroeder (he golfs a lot @ Old Hickory), Tina Swain or ever hear of Byron Spangler (owned a sports & marine store in BD in the late 60's, or Sue Graef who left BD in 1965)??
We live in Tomahawk but for 60+ yrs. lived in the Milw. area.

I do know Art and Gail Schroeder. I taught at the school near their home, and I belonged to Old Hickory for quite a number of years. I also know Tina and Chuck swain. Small world...We live in St. Charles when we are in The Villages. Where do you live?

We were from Delafield- 26 yrs - Sold the house - now in Oconomowoc - just closed on our new home in Sanibel in November - not quite retired yet - we can't wait. Joined the Wisconsin Club at Colony when we were down - Wonderful people as you would expect !!!

Did U know Ron Caffrey from Johnson Controls? My bro-in law was a vp & worked @ various Johnson sites for over 45 yrs.

Being from northern Illinois we love Wisconsin and all you cheese heads. And I'm sure you love us FIBs also.

We are from Green Bay and live in Village of Collier during the winter months. I love Nancy's Notions in Beaver Dam--always go to the big yearly warehouse sale.

Student Teaching
 

I did my student teaching at Beaver Dam High School in 1973. Taught under Mrs. Possin the chemistry teacher. We lived in married student housing (Eagle Heights) in Madison and I drove to Beaver Dam for a semester through snow and rain in a two door Pinto. There was a gas war going on and we could fill the car for 25 cents per gallon. A long time ago.

We are from Hartland area. Only part timers for now. Really enjoy our time in The Villages whenever we can come down.

Interesting I am also looking for info on wis clubs. Just this morning I went thru rec news of daily sun but found nothing listed. What am I missing. Want to know where and when they meet.

Two more snowbird cheeseheads here. We are from Wales in Waukesha county. Residents in The Village of St. Charles. We joined the Wisconsin Club at SeaBreeze and having a great time.

I am from Oshkosh. Most of my relatives are from Beaver Dam-my mother was number 13 of 14 kids!

We are from Glendale, WI. Lived there for 15 years raising three sons. Now, retired and full time in the Village of Gilchrist. There are websites for the Wisconsin clubs. Go Brewers and Go Pack!!
