Tonight's Sunset
We were really blessed tonight with a western sky sunset - having seen anything that fabulous since New Mexico! Really, really enjoyed it - hope you did too.

Gracie, my wife and I both commented about the beautiful sunset tonight as we were driving home from Hacienda Hills CC to Glenbrook. We also said it reminded us of the sunsets we had seen over Sandia Peak just outside of Albuquerque.

We saw it and commented on how amazingly beautiful it was! We are so blessed to have a plethora of those throughout the year, here. Think it's because of the ocean (gulf)!!!

I have tried to upload the photos that I took but I keep getting an error message telling me the upload has failed??? Don't know if the size is an issue but each photo is about 2mb.

Our friends from St. Charles sent this to us this evening to make us jealous, while we're shivering up here in the cold and wind :cold:! It just made us more anxious to get down there to enjoy it in person! 10 days and counting...

A-4Skyhawk captured the cloud formations, and mamaderby got the color. Exactly what we saw. It looked like someone threw a billion cotton puffs up into the sky and spray-painted them rose. Amazing.

Hey everyone... I thought everyone would enjoy that I was driving in traffic during this sunset and thought it was so amazing and actually took a photo of it from my car.
I saw this post tonight and had to respond to all of you as I was laughing that everyone thought the same.. You made my night as I didn't get to see it like the pictures you posted which were amazing!!!!! Even from my car it was fantastic so thought I would share it (not as good as yours).. See my pic.. not bad for a quick pic from an Iphone..... Hope all is doing well!! Admin |
