Just wondering what the folks at TV are doing with their days? ;-)

The Parrot Heads & Codys are having a big fundraiser at Codys today for the Food Bank ! $5.00 gets you free food hopefully everyone will bring some non perishable food ! Dunning Shaw will be entertaining us. It'll be a great time !!
It starts at 4:00.

1. Unpacked boxes and cleaned.

2. Meet with landscaper at noon.

3. Drive to seamstress to get jeans tapered and shortened.

4. Look at golf carts.

5. Meeting with Single Baby Boomers to help with out of the bubble trips.

6. Maybe catch some NOLA music in one of the squares.

7. Unpack a box or two.

8. Collapse

Baking bread, dinner rolls,pies and cakes.

Played tennis, going to chiropractor, going to Mardi gras party !

Went to work in Illinois and wished I was there...

Oh wait..you ARE in Illinois and wished you were HERE. Ok...I am HERE and wish I was in Illinois...Cubs opening day is approaching!!

Played golf. Having out-of-town friends over for drinks and dinner by the pool. Sunny and 86 degrees! Life is good!

Just ate supper. Mmmm Portabella mushrooms and hamburgers on the grill. Getting ready to go to the Mardi Gras party at Spanish Springs.

I was raking oak leaves out of my front yard this morning before 8 a.m. and took care of some other outside gardening chores. It has been a really glorious today. Let's see. I did some laundry. My husband had a doctor's appointment, actually lab work, done this a.m. and he drove the golf cart. Isn't that amazing?

When he got home, we both hopped in the cart and went to the bank, to the Post Office, to Lowe's and then cruised around the neighbor and took a little cart ride. On the way home, we stopped at a neighbor's house and stood outside and talked for about an hour.

When we were at Lowe's, we bought some more seeds for my granddaughter to plant. She is nearly four and has discovered she loves to help her Ganny garden. Here it is February and I've been planting. God is good. Life is good here in lower Paradise. If you are going to Madri Gras, see you at the Square!

We went to DeLeon Springs State Park and had a wonderful day. If you want a nice day away from TV I recommend this place highly.

Stopped at the Gold Dome Building Sumter Tax Office on CR 466A to apply for some property tax deductions. Went by Sun Trust in Wildwood to the ATM for some cash. Ate lunch at Burke's BBQ for the first time, not bad outside except for a few flies, hopefully they'll screen it in later. Stopped at ARS Granite in Fruitland Park to look at inventory and get a rough estimate and set up an appointment. Shopped at Walmart in Leesburg, weekdays is a good time to go there, not many people. Returned home to our CYV and talked to a couple of neighbors for about 30 minutes. Discussed our baseball trip to the Disney Complex on 2/22 for see the Braves & Tigers and another neighbor about some landscaping I plan on doing. Came inside about 4pm and have been surfing the web.

Just make sure you are not holding your breath 'cause I don't think it's gonna happen. Just saying!

Went to work at 0630 in 4 degree weather, icy roads, and ugh...wishing I was in TV. Come on Feb 23rd. :police:
