Just purchased a Lantana in the Village of Pinellas. Will be moving in a couple of months and would love to meet other Pinellas Villagers.

We just purchased in Pinellas also but are back in North Carolina getting our house on the market.

Just bought our property in Pinellas and our Lantana design meeting on April 5th. Hope it will be built by summer and ready to be moved in by fall.

We purchased a Jasmine on Useppa Oaks Lane. Close next month.

We purchased a Patio Villa on Nutwood Ave in Pinellas, Perdido Villas. Sadly we won't be back again until the end of the year, although I may make a short trip at the end of September to buy a golf cart and play some golf.
However, we will be there from late December 2013 through end of April 2014.

Would like to get involved in a community group when there, especially fellow golfers.

Pinellas folks, you are my neighbors. I'm moving to Gilchrist, across BV from you and closing April 1. We have a dynamic and wonderful community already developing that you can see in the thread "New villagers to Gilchrist." Feel welcome to got there, say hello and introduce yourself. It may take a few hours to get invited to a gathering...but not much more. just show up if you see a gathering that catches your fancy.

Hope to meet you when you get there. I purchased a Lantana on Yearling Way (spec home). I close on 4/11 but probably won't move until mid May or June (sooner if my home in Louisiana sells).

Yes, I purchased a spec home that was almost complete. I will close on 4/11. Naturally, with purchasing a spec home one does not get everything they want but I did not want to go through the building process and not be there.

Purchased a Designer Home on Lafayette Street and closing on April 8th. Will divide time between our home in Massachusetts and The Villages for the time being.

Hope to meet my neighbors at some point.

welcome to the neighborhood. I guess that by the time we get back, the homes will all be sold. Which villa did you purchase? We are in 3063 Nutwood.

A heads up.

When calling the service providers (Century Link, Brighthous, Comcast etc) all say they have no services there. However, if you go to the Century Link Office at Spanish Springs and ask for Ben Meadows, he has all the correct information to set you up.
We really got the run-around from all companies when we called the 1-800 numbers, but Ben was great and sorted it out in no time.

And you will need to have a technician to do the installation as the service is fiber optic and that has to require a final connection to the fiber optic cables.

Yes, I bought one of the spec Lantana's. I did not get everything I wanted but pretty close. I wanted the 2 ft stretch across the entire back which this Lantana does not have. I was told there were no homesites available that would hold a stretched Lantana with golf cart garage and that TV was probably going to build spec homes from this point rather than release the homesites for sale.

We have just bought there too! Closing in April - will move in May/June

We just bought a Cedar on Yearling Way and will settle end of April. Will gradually move in over the next month until we settle on the house we sold in Caroline.

We are moving to Pinellas, 2878 Border Court. Design meeting was March 26 (Gardenia) and completion is scheduled for June 7. Plan to move in mid June. We look forward to being there.

Bobby and I have an offer on our home in NC and if all goes well, will close on May 9th, which is my birthday. We plan to come to TV on May 10 and rent a place until we can find a new construction home to suit our needs.
Good luck in sellling your home and maybe our paths will cross in TV.

We are closing on May 24 on our new home on Altair Path! Look forward to meeting new neighbors also. Ours is a Whispering Pine.

We just this afternoon purchase a hold on a lot on Yearling Way - will build in August if all goes well -- were there last Dec. for a week and did not want to come home to Virgina.
