Pet Name Combos

When reading the post shown below on another thread, I liked the names of Ben and Jerry Keithwand gave his two Shi Tzu/Maltese brothers. It got me thinking that there are probably a lot of cute or funny names that could be given to a pair of dogs, cats or even other pets. Instead of hijacking that thread I decided to start this thread for us to share names we have given pairs of pets or just plain interesting combinations you would consider. You can even use famous name pairs.

Although two name combinations are preferable, there's no reason you can't include more than two if it fits into the spirit of this thread. Also, it won't be a rule, but lets try to limit ourselves to three pairs per post to give others a chance to post without all the good combinations being used up.

Thanks! I'll start by giving a few:

1) Lewis & Martin (or Jerry & Dean)
2) Donald & Daisy
3) Kukla, Fran & Ollie

3 months later we adopted 2 Shi Tzu/ Maltese brothers from the same litter and brought them back to FL from Petoskey, MI and they wore us out!
I'll take as many years that they can give us and after that adopt an older dog.
Ben and Jerry are the sweetest dogs I have ever had the privilege of taking care of.

We're on our 3rd pair of cats.

The first two were named for our interest in space - Chrysse - where the first Viking lander landed on Mars (Orange cat) and Halley - a black and white longhair for the comet.

The next two were Linus and Lucy

Our current two are Bengal brothers. We named them Cassidy and Sundance. We were going to name Cassidy "Butch," but he just isn't

When they passed, did they have them cremated, placed the ashed in a urn and label it... "Up In Smoke?"

That's OK... no rules! Now there's also:

Moe, Larry & Curley which would be better suited for 3 cats!

And as their kissn' cousins, three dogs named Larry, Daryl and their brother Daryl.

Now if you're on the darker side, you could name a cat & dog combo as Vampire & Frankenstein respectively!

:clap2:

We have acquaintances up north that had two daughters and named them, you got it... Kate & Allie, and I believe it was actually before the show was on TV.

stuckinparadise 03-29-2013 08:23 AM

My husband had two cats and named them Will and Grace.

We once were godparents to a litter of kittens born on the wrong side of the blanket; we are pretty sure their parents weren't wed or even had a commitment. So the poor little furry ones we tried to help with their status in life by giving them the names of fine learning institutions.

They were called Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Vassar and Radcliffe.

Didn't help. They showed signs of the same promiscuity that led their parents astray. We had them neutered and found homes for them.

During a party last week I heard a very cute set of names for two pets but cannot seem to remember these names. I will try to investigate it.

No, it was not Gin and Tonic, nor Rum and Coke, nor Birthday and Cake....

Did they use upper class terms for others like Thurston Howell III and Lovie would use?
For instance... Dah-ling or Poopsie? http://www.dream-worlds.net/forum/smileys/smiley80.gif

We have a golden retriever with 2 names....Molly-Cooper. Jim wanted Molly and I wanted Cooper. So, she is hyphenated. Actually, our last name is Combes, so she is Molly-Cooper Combes. We call her MC squared.

Do M&M normally pose on the wall, or is that a side trick you taught them? :1rotfl:

Too funny it does look like they are on the wall but it's the floor must be the way I was holding my I-pad to take the picture. I'm glad I gave you a laugh. They are funny cats.
