Forum Jump
FYI we have had the request to restore this and this is done.
We hope this helps the functionality. Regards, |
Thanks!
Thanks very much!!

Thank you!!! It was missed.

Uh, what is it?
|
Ditto - what did we get back???
|
Maybe it's a new dance craze going on at Crispers get togethers. Seriously, looks like there's a bunch of us that don't know what a forum jump is! Inquiring minds want to know dag-nabbit!!! :rant-rave:
:a20: |
I hate missing something I never knew I was missing.
I now it's back and I still miss it. |
Well, thanks. But I always go to new posts, so they are all mixed together.

I see a little drop down menu called Forum Jump( just below the box that you type a new message in) I guess that's it.
|
I'm very glad it's back. I missed it, too. Thanks!

and just what would this do for me??? ok, so I found it and clicked on it and now understand why I never missed it!!!
|
Some people like to use it, others don't. Me? I've never used it. I think it depends somewhat on how you prefer to navigate the site/read new posts.
Bill :) |
I find it useful if you want to start a new thread in a different forum than the one you are in. You go to the Forum Jump and select the forum and enter your new thread.
Or if you want to go to a specific forum to look up an old post that is no longer in the New Posts, you can use th Forum Jump. And yes, there are other ways to get there but I am used to this way. Z |
I had started a thread a few weeks ago about losing the drop down window. I'm glad it's back because since going online in 1995 it's the way I've learned to navigate message boards. NFL Football, rock bands and so many others, I probably look at 100 different boards and this was the only one that didn't have a drop down.

Ohhh, I'm so glad you all asked the question. I had no idea what it was and never used it after 6 years of being on this forum... but now that I know what it is,, I'm afraid I'm still not going to use it, LOL..., but thanks anyway for bringing it back...
