Looking for 19 year old, brother of dead terrorist. Their surname is Tsarnaev.
Similiar to Russian and Ukrainian names I've come across in my genealogy research.

One of them was killed by police . All info is on all the major cable news networks .

It just happens to be on every single t.v. channel plus on MSN news.....

They are of Chechyn origin.........one was born in Kyrgyzstan; the older brother was born in Russia.


If you know your Chechyn and Russian history........the Russian military fought against the Chechyn rebels for a very long time.

My brother, wife and children live in a 1-2mi radius of the stand down area of Cambridge. Pls pray for all of them and neighbors!

George Stephanopoulos on ABC News......just was talking with an expert on the conflict in Chechnya and Russia..........going back hundreds of years.

He also said that the parents of the two brothers are shocked, in that they spoke to the sons yesterday and they said something like "We are all right Daddy".....as the father was concerned when he heard about the Boston Marathon bombings. So, even their father was in the dark about what they had planned.

Many of us have adult children, grandchildren, neices, nephews, friends and other acquaintences who live , or go to school, or work in Boston or the surrounding area.

MSN always has breaking news with the red banner (if it's serious news) across the top of my screen when I turn the computer on........

For those of us with connections or bonds back to Boston (especially those of us in New England)........this "story" and "news" is equivalent to how we all felt while 911 was unfolding...........a need to know. We also had bonds to New York City as that's where my dad was born....and all of his family lived.

We are all united in a "need to know" and glad they got one of the Boston Marathon Bombers overnight........unfortunately the policeman at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge had to lose his life in a gun battle........etc., etc.....another injured. Right now there are "HUMVEES" AND ALL KINDS OF POLICE AND NATIONAL GUARD PRESENCE in the neighborhood where he is believed to be holed up.

Our "press" is our morning newspaper.......and by the time we get it at 3 a.m. in the morning, the news is yesterday's news........

...................so yes, we get it ONLINE and from ABC, CNN and CBS, NBC and sometimes FOX. MSNBC is faster than the t.v. news.

Our daughter and son have friends who live in Boston..........our neighbors have children that live in Boston........our neighbors go to all the RED SOX games...........now you know.

The two brothers have sisters in New York City........the father said he lived in the U.S. for ten years.........he is horrified and said GIVE YOURSELF UP to his son.

The sister just said "I am in mourning" and she is horrified at what has happened..............

I think so. Hard to believe they do not own t.v.'s........or are so uninformed.

all will end well if there are no further deaths in his pursuit.

Secondly let's hope he is taken alive.

Then let the courts convict him and put him to death.

And let the swift action by all enforcement agencies involved to get to where we are this morning...less than 3 days(!!!!!!!!!!!!) be a lesson to those who would try something in the future.

And for those who would cry about "invasion of privacy" with the advent of cameras being present.....get over it....the value of these devices to insure our safety has been demonstrated. And for those who would promote yeah but.....forget it....you are out numbered.

What concerns me alot is what were they doing at MIT???!! I'm very suspicious as MIT has a strong military research think tank there.....

There's also a bunch of inexpensive apartments in that area. Let's hope the local police find them before the feds. Would probably save the expense of a trial.

I was just talking to a friend in Lexington, MA. His son has an apartment in that area of Watertown. He was not at home at the time, but too close to home for my buddy.

We were wondering if these two were just two nuts, along the lines of nuts that shoot up a school, with a cause unknown? Robbing a 7/11? Seems to me you want to get caught? You want to go out with a huge bang taking as many as possible.

Are you aware chechyns are connected to Al-Queda. Chechyns have been trying to break away from the Russian empire and many are Muslims by Religion. Were you around during 9/11 or do you remember 9/ll?

Apparently they needed cash. The buzz is that they probably were not funded by some huge organization........or else they would have had an escape plan and some funds.

However, we just heard that there "might" be an associate......who is surrounded by all those police cars.......no one knows for sure.
They've called for a Russian language translator. They are still searching homes in a certain neighborhood with the black hawk helicopters flying overhead. The press really isn't sure what is going on.

One individual was surrounded and is now with investigators. CNN just announced that fact.

The bomber's Uncle gave an impassioned plea for him to turn himself in.
He called him a "loser" and said that he and his own family loved the U.S.

The dead brother (bomber) was a student at one time at Bunker Hill Community College in Boston.........the younger brother went to some elite high school.......and worked as a lifeguard at Harvard.....just a job as a teenager. All of his friends never heard anything "political" from him.
Everyone is shocked.

Whatever their beliefs, they kept it hidden well.

The younger one's friends are saying he should turn himself in.
Guess he is twittering??? The friends say he was a typical American student in Boston????

The law enforcement and news reporters must be exhausted, not to mention all the residents displaced from their homes........this senseless act on Monday has created havoc in Boston.

Didn't the alleged marathon bombers uncle say they were not from Chechnya and "had never been there", were his exact words?

From what I heard, one of the "suspects" is 19 and the other was 26. They had been in the US for 10 years. I doubt if at the age of 9, the person was placed there to commit an act of terror. They were both legal residents along with their parents.

In the 60's, "radical American's" bombed alot of places. They were members of extremists groups, alot of them from Ivy League colleges. So, this act is nothing new... It definately IS NOT right, but as a high school student in Mass.in the 1960's I saw alot of this awful and criminal acts. Does anyone remember Kent State???!!! There were so many Anti-American activities going on then!! SDS, Black Panther's, Patty Hearst (of the famed Hearst newspaper's family)and the extremist group that she was involved with. etc, etc. So, it's not only people who came to our country from abroad that want to hurt people, very sad to say!!

Speculation is running amuck across all media outlets, why should it be any different on TOTV?

It's been reported that the reason the photos weren't released until 5:00pm is to give the President time to get out of town. Can you imagine the chaos that would have ensued if all this shooting in the streets had started when the President was in Boston?
