Check out my new epoxy garage floor!!
1 Attachment(s)
I have to give a big thumbs up to the guys at Go Concrete! I told them that we really wanted something 'different' for our epoxy floors in our garage.
Boy oh boy...did they DELIVER! Service was amazing... all phone calls were returned promptly and even though we were out of state, the home was left locked up, every night. They did an amazing job on my Ivy garage floor and also, created a work of art on my mom's Lantana garage. Just had to share :a040:Attachment 13206 |
I LIKE it!

Nice to see such a beautiful garage floor.
I'm trying to get my husband to declutter his garage up here, before listing. |
Looks great! Only problem is now you have to put stuff on it. Yikes!
|
That is very cool. :)

Love that.:pepper2:

nice, what does something like that cost?
|
Very nice and "out of the box"!
|
Is epoxy a good product for the driveway as well?
|
I think so but I read it can be slippery??
Pavers work well at $1 sq ft or concrete stain on driveways or garages. |
How is it when wet...and how often do you reseal
|
Wow very nice

Epoxy Info
Hi All,
Go Concrete charged about $4.25 a foot (If I would have gone with no design, then it would have been much cheaper). The guys from GC worked on it for nearly 2 weeks. The design was a lot of extra work, but in my humble opinion, very worth it! Maintenance will be almost zero. Maybe, in 10 years, I might have to get a new top coat of shiny, but probably not. We will just have to mop it with water, to keep clean. Easy! It's hard to see in the photo, but they put in shiny metallic chips to really make this floor look amazing! In regard to smell, the first coat or two of epoxy was a bit 'strong', to say the least, while the guys were applying it. However, with venting out the space by leaving the doors up, the smell quickly went away. I will be returning to TV on June 1st, so if anyone wants to take a peek at mine or my mom's, of course, you are more than welcome. Have I mentioned, lately, that I am so thrilled to be a part of this amazing community?! :pepper2: |

Congratulations, Beautiful Floor!
Now your floor is too perfect to park on! If you've got an electric golf cart, make sure you buy one of the plastic floor protectors that traps spilled battery acid because that would surely ruin your beautiful epoxy. I’m fanatical about not overfilling my batteries but on occasion I still see spillage. It's almost unavoidable. We've also noticed that our epoxy floor doesn't like Simple Green cleaner for whatever reason.

You remember Gracie, the thrifty...some call me tight??? Sweetie has filed the bill in his interesting and inovative way and I can't find it. He is golfing right now..of course;) Anyway, those folks said it was just like the paint that was used on the developers plane hangar floor. It was cheaper than the other bids we got. I didn't think we needed it, but I am very vain about it now. Not as artistic as previous pictures but very nice indeed and Thrifty. |
Very Cool
