Glen Hollow Farms
A pre-owned home is listed on The Villages website as being in Glen Hollow Farms. I had never heard of this area in so I decided to investigate by going the Sumter property appraisers website.
By looking at the GIS map, I found the homes of Gary, Tracy, and Jennifer. I had seen the sign for Glen Hollow Farms and thought it was a private area and not part of The Villages. I am sure there are many who knew this is where they lived but, it is new information to me. By the way, the house for sale in that area is already pending. Asking price was $700,000. |
To answer the question in your post subject line, "Anywhere they want!"

I would say most think they're great. |
They live in OZ with the Wizard.

In a PRIVATE home!

Great responses :laugh::laugh:
|
why would anyone care?
|
With all due respect - unless they became friends of ours, I really do not need to know or have any desire to know that information.

Gee folks, all she did was ask a question. I don't have a response kfierle but if I did, I would be a little more respectful with my response!
|
I have never seen so many rude responses to a simple question. To the best of my knowledge, the Morse family has a large compound north of Rt. 466 and it is not part of The Villages.
|
To the OP...Would you like it if everybody and anybody knew EXACTLY where you live? Why do you need to know? Did they invite you to dinner or is this just another one of the many back-door attempts to bash the Morse family? I'm guessing that if you asked the Morses where they lived and what their address was they'd tell you it's none of your :cus: business!!
|
Amazing that so many people "don't care" , "don't need to know", "feel it's none of your business" etc. but this still checked this post to see where the Morse children live.
Isn't it ironic, don't you think??? |

I betcha they have a spectacular compound close to TV, and they deserve it. |

Oh, c'mon...where's your sense of humor? :1rotfl: |
Wow, lots of cranky people around today. Maybe some fiber in your diets will help.
|
This question is that of natural curiosity and I do not think the OP should be criticized for asking. I've often asked where the Morses live.

What's up with all the RUDE Replies? Too many freaks - not enough circuses.
The OP's question got me curious. I did a Sumter County tax search for Gary Morse and his name is on one of the cottage homes in the village east of the LSL Sales office off Fish Camp Road. It's the first one on the water on the west end, there are ten units on the lake. We stayed in one of those homes two years ago on our LSV, I drove my cart through the village because it was so neat. It only had 48 homes and it felt so secluded but you could walk to the square in 5 minutes. It even had it's own neighborhood pool. They were called cottages but I was told nothing sold in there for less than $400,000 and Gary Morse's home has a sales price of $750,000. If you don't care or are not interested, then just move on, there is nothing to see here. / |

Hmmmmmmm? First they quietly sell off many facets of their business enterprises, now apparently they are selling off some of their homes. Begs the question...what gives? BTW: Those two listings that were new listings yesterday and marked pending sale have disappeared today. |

Where ever they are living, I hope they are enjoying themselves, because the favor they did for me, to live in retirement development, with all these amenities, and making it so much fun, is beyond belief!! I love everything they have done for us, and hope they can live in privacy and enjoy it here also.
|
It's time to move on from this topic. How about, where do the Morse children eat as the next thread. Or, what kind of cars do they drive? Heck, this could never end!
|
i thought the OP was asking where glen hollow farms is, sorry i do not know where its located
|
On the north side of 466 between Buena Vista and Morse, kind of across from the new Premier village.

Everyone here ought to see this video interview of the Morse daughters and son who manage this pristine, dreamy place. They are regular people who have worked hard all their lives and continue to do so, starting as pre-teens working in the country store and restaurant in northern Michigan.
Their dad and grandfather took great risks to start, build and expand TV. That's how the American Dream works. Lots of work, persistence, risks, failures, rewards, and role modeling to children what kind of hard work and tenacity it takes to turn a vision into reality...... :agree::laugh: Good Answer!! LOL

Maybe it is just me...but there have been so many reference to Harold Schwarz walking the squares and being in the parades etc....I just think it is interesting to think of where they might live...do they blend in with everyone else? Do they live and play in the Villages....well it seems their play involves a lot of hard work by their video....It seems nice to think they live here here and benefit from all The Villages have and don't spend all of their time on the Yacht etc.
BTW, The reason I care is that I think it would be fun to run into them at a Restaurant or dancing at a square. |

This is a little of topic but in answer to ssmith's comment - I was behind Jennifer Parr at the Fresh Market checkout line one day, I thanked her for creating such a great place to live. She talked to me and was very gracious. I was in Crispers when Tracy Mathews came in to pick up a carry out order. She was wearing jeans and a tee shirt. So I believe the Morse's are around if you look for them.
|
Personally, I don't care. I want to know, but I don't care.
It's curiosity, is all. I honestly wouldn't recognize any of the Morse family members if they goosed me from behind in the Public checkout line. |

Anyways, not to take this thread off track, nice to see you being so polite. |
Thank you. I always try to be polite.

Off topic.
