Thank you for the compliment "Asianthree" Its a hobby I discovered when we moved here now that I have the time and inclination to indulge in it. Such beauty all around, and I always carry my camera. This being The Villages, I applied one of name/address stickers to the camera, should I accidently leave it behind somewhere. I just know it would be returned. :)

Is it a single flower on a stalk or is there a vine? If vine, could be a type of jasmine. From the pic it appears to be a single stalk. Very pretty!

We have a good size snail right now on the edge of our pool.

The flower possibly is a Night Blooming Cereus. I used to have one and it looks just like the blooms I would get.

Beautiful photo and flower/snail. We had a good laugh tonight as well, a small green frog (tree?) must have hitched a ride into the house on a flowering plant my wife purchased today. She about jumped out of her skin when the flog hopped and landed on her blouse. We had a blast trying to catch it, that little dude could really jump.

We can't eat the snails in CA. Can FL snails be eaten like those in France? Yum. Yum!

CFrance 08-07-2013 09:36 PM

Awesome photography! Glad you post those pics here for us all.
