New home in Hillsborough...Need lawn mowing
 

We have just purchased a Patio Villa in New Haven Villa's near Brownwood. Everyone we talked to said you could get your Lawn mowing for $40.00 to $50.00 a month. We have contacted all the Lawn mowing companies and found most will not take new customers or they want $75.00 or $85.00 a month just to mow! Anybody know who goes south of 466A and will cut the lawn at a better price???

Hometown, Deans, there are plenty around how would love to have your business.

We also purchased a home in Hillsborough that we have not yet occupied. We contacted Dean's and hope they are doing a good job. $50 per month for a corner lot. They have a banner on this site. Hope to check out the property soon.

50.00 is just mowing? No weeding or fertilizing right?

We do our own lawn, however, I can assure you Deans is great. I have seen quite a few properties that are not occupied and Deans assures that these lawns are cut. There have been a few landscapers in the area who contracted with owners and do not cut the lawns. My husband volunteers at seniors vs crime and has seen quite a few complaints. It is best to call seniors vs crime before contracting with anyone

Deans says price is for every other week. That the grass is too stressed getting cut weekly. Is about same price as the companies quoting weekly. For those of you using Deans, is one time every other week enough in the summer?

Is that each week or every other week? Push mow or riding? Dean' quote was for every other week so I am confused and having a hard time comparing apples to apples

Tip: if you aren't here, nobody's watching your irrigation to make sure grass doesn't grow over the sprinklers. You need donuts and a contract to keep them clear.

We use Regal. We have a new home in Charlotte on a corner lot. They do mowing, weeding and trimming fir $50 per month. We could not be happier with their service.

What I did was looked at the more established neighbors lawns that I thought were in good condition then asked my neighbor who they had and what they thought of them. If the lawn mowers do several places in your neighborhood on the same day, they tend to give you a price break too.

Won't take on new customers? They use to pull up to the house and try to talk you into doing your lawn. There is no denying prosperity here in TVs.
