Just curious how many cars you own and how many golf carts?

One car.

One golf cart.

Use of each is 60% cart and 40% car. There's a lot to do all around FL.

One car, two carts. Almost never use the car!

One car, two carts we are a villages couple.

1 car 2 carts 2 people

Car gets used maybe 3,500 miles per year

one cart 5,000 mi per year

other cart maybe 3,000

We don't leave the bubble that much....

How many cars and carts...
 

Two gas carts (purchased from Carts and Clubs, Ocala) and one car. Rarely use the car...I drove 25 miles today...back and forth from the Village of Belvedere to the Fiesta Bowl). Then out to the Village of Amelia to play Mah Jongg) all in the golf cart. I could have taken the car, but why?

1 electric - 1 gas & 1 car
The electric belongs to Mrs. Bosox probably 3000 miles a year or less
the gas is mine -I bought the end of November 2012 it's a 2013 Yamaha EFI and it's coming up on 9500 miles.
As you can see the car stays in the garage most of the time.

For now no car 2 carts both gas. Were not frogs yet.

Two cars - one cart. We are the oddballs and rarely use the cart for anything but golf!

Two carts....one for golf and one Yesteryear for tootling around in. One SUV. We probably use the cars and car about 50/50.

3 cars & 1 Gem cart - Neither of us play golf so the cart rarely gets used. We do drive all 3 cars. We actually just bought a new house in TV with a bigger garage, just to accommodate three cars, and the cart. Now, he wants to bring down another car from up north, we have 5 up there. What can I say...he's a car guy! There are worse things I guess.

In Florida,1 car and 1 cart.

1 SUV, 2 Carts, CC (4 golf) & Streetrod (4 fun), both electric.

We have 1 car and 2 golf carts. We go everywhere in the golf carts. Very seldom use the car.

1 SUV daily driver, 1 sports car for occasional use, 1 cart for golf and going to the squares.

2 carts -- one for work and one for play. Gave my car to my daughter.

Interesting thread.
We have talked about this in preparation for our move and planned to have 2 carts and keep our Prius. Sounds like 2/1 is what many people do. That just verifies our inclination to do the same.

What KathieL said. One car, used by me and by friends who thought they wouldn't need a car. No cart, no golf clubs. Tidy garage.

3 carts (Yamaha 4-seater for everything, older club car for pool and company and the streetrod!), 1 car in TV.
1 cart, 1 truck and the 10th AV Miata in VA.

So no car. Are you able to get around everywhere or do you need to get friends to take you places on occasion?

One car and two electric golf carts. We just purchased our second cart last week - got a great deal on a 2010 Club Car right here on TOTV. We only use the car for grocery shopping and an occasional drive off campus, and we only fill it up about once a month.

We have 2 SUV's which we will keep when we're there full time.
Plan on buying 1 golf cart and changing 1 SUV for a smaller car like a Prius
In the future.

2 Cars 1 Gas golf cart. Am surprised some posts say no car. For the moment we are using cars more. Can't imagine driving golf carts in the rain, cold or wind. Guess we are too used to driving around in cars. Our golf cart is mainly for golf or driving around to not-too-far rec centers. Finally I am able to spend more seasons driving with my top down and enjoying immensely. Don't want my wife to drive my toy so she drives her sedan. Perhaps once we settle down more, we'll switch to 1 car and 2 carts as her golf with the ladies and mine with the guys are on collision course eventually.

2 SUVs and 1 gas Yamaha EFI cart. Rarely use cart use only for an occasional trip to LSL or Brownwood or a ride over to Colony. 1 SUV is used for full time work. 2nd SUV is used for all other transportation needs.
