Yes, Dr. Luong.......she is excellent. My crown fell off (I didn't lose it tho) and she replaced it and did a great job, no pain and quality care.

Welcome to TOTV. Use the search button above. Just type in dentist. You will get past threads on these dentists. The only one on your list that I have used was Johary and I would definitely NOT recommend him.

Dr luong is great. I had a couple of crowns replaced by her. She does it in her office. Takes pictures of your tooth and then she has you leave for a couple of hours while they make the crown for you. We just walked around Spanish Springs came back crown was ready and fit perfectly. No temp or going back for refittings love the office stff too.

We use Dr. Luong. She and her staff are excellent. We have used her for extensive dental work and are very pleased with the results. Can't say whether she is charges more or less than other dentists here as we have never compared prices. She is a little higher than what we paid in Virginia for a 6 month cleaning but not much. But her xrays are digital and stored electronically and she uses a different method for cleaning than scraping your teeth so that probably warrants a higher fee. Highly recommend.

Steer clear of Dr. Johary. Do not use him.

Every tooth in my mouth is filled over the last 65 years . Have endured about 6 dentiats over those years. Dr Maria Luong is the best I have ever patronized. Not cheap, but fair.

Johary...absolutely not after waiting 1/12 hrs in the chair, walked out. Dr Luong...absolutely yes.

I went to Dr. Johary for a cleaning (my first appt. there). After a long wait in a crowded room (more like a big hallway), I finally get into the examining room and then get an estimate for over $3000 of dental work for a deep cleaning and to replace old crowns. AND the cleaning fee was going to be another $85. I said the insurance company always covered the cleaning cost. They said the insurance only covers the polishing cost and I was responsible for the cleaning part. I got up and walked out of the place. I complained to the insurance company about their methods and a month later get got a reply that Johary was just giving his opinion for services needed. Case closed. Later another dentist office did the cleaning at no cost to me and after the full exam said all else is well. In my opinion Johary is a crook. Stay away.

Does anyone know of a good dentist that takes Aetna insurance?

Both my husband and I go to Dr Robert Penrod at Colony Modern. We have found him as polite, conscientious, and personable. As a dentist he knows his stuff. The office personnel are exceptional too! Only negative is you must see Dr Penrod, before scheduling a cleaning and they can't be done in the same appointment.....have noticed this is not unique but the rule most every place we checked out.

NO to Johary. I sent a letter to the Florida Dental Association regarding his practice. Stay far away from this one!

Maria Luong is great. She runs her practice like a spa. Also one of the few that offers nitrous oxide. She also makes her own caps so you get same day service. She is slo a perfectionist and will not accept inferior work from her staff or vendors. All of our friends go to her snd they love her. I hated going to the dentist until I visited her. The nitrous makes it a pleasant experience.

I second this! The dentists are not only good but they are cheaper than any here in The Villages! In fact, Dr. McAnly called me to check up on how I (and my husband) were doing after our last visit. That impressed me and indicated that personal service is important to this dentist and the office. It's worth the 20 mile drive!

This is a small town dentist office and their reputation is vital to their business so they bend over backwards to please and do the very best!

I had to move back to Wisconsin for medical reasons but thought I would share my experience with Dr. Luong. I had a cracked crown and Dr. Luong took me in a new patient without any questions. She took care of replacing the crown and I thought the experience was just wonderful.

I have my own dentist back in Wisconsin but if I were to recommend a dentist in the Villages, it would be Dr. Luong.

Dr. Luong is our dentist and we are more than pleased. We also have Aetna dental insurance and no problems. She referred me to Dr Maria Claus for a root canal and I was pleased with her services as well.
